I need the new ghd V Lagoon Professional Styler from the limited edition bird of paradise collection, to save me from the cream crack allure of hair relaxants.
A year ago I decided to let my afro flourish after years of keeping it very short and that has been fun... until winter came knocking. Co-washing and air drying daily in the cold of winter ain’t no paradise picnic and does not tickle my fancy.
What tickles my fancy and soothes my pretty feathers is achieving sleek straight locks without heat damaging or altering my afro's molecular structure and ghd is the only brand I trust to do that.

Firstly, that is my favourite colour. I'm in my first year of university and I desperately need a hair straightener. My hair is curly, and not the good kind. I try the best to look as good as I can but my hair never stays straight. I absolutely love the straight look because I think it suits me best but unfortunately, I cant have that because I don't own a hair straightener. About 5 years ago I met the queen of hair.... GHD... I fell in love with a GHD because my hair is so frizzy and I hate that. With a GHD my hair always looks amazing! Smooth and so healthy. I have never had one before and can promise you I will treasure her forever!!!

What can I say about GHD. It is absolutely awesome and amazing. What tickles my feathers is how I can straighten, curl and pretty much style my hair any way it suits me. I can have one style for work and then change for a night out in the town. This bird of paradise is ready to show off her feathers and fly thanks to GHD :)

The thing that tickles my feathers about this ghd, is that I can straighten my feathers wit it and it is so stunning. I have always wanted a ghd and this a chance to get a STUNNING one. Just the idea of winning it makes me sprout my wings and want to fly. It would be the happiest day of my life to hold the best and most beautiful straightner in the word within my claws to stroke it trough my bushy and crazy looking feathers after I get up in the morning. It gives me goose bumps!
I also have these weird feathers at the sides of my head that form the wierdest little curls and I know after going over them with the ghd my days would be so much brighter!

The amazing thing about a GHD is that one is not limited to one hair style. You can have curls or have your hair straight and even just have a few waves in it. this would be such a great gift for me as my 21st is coming up in August and i would be able to have those curl iv always wanted. And buy using the Products you can prevent damage to your hair aswell. Your hair looks like youve gone to a professional to have it done. I had one of the very firt GHD's but it broke and now my hair has to suffer lol. Having a GHD realy does make a HUGE difference and you hair feels thinner and looks so healthy with the shine it gives. Unfortunitly for me I am a student at unniversity and cannot afford to purches one.

Firstly the look of the GHD is so vivid and eye catching the HD of hair straighteners. Secondly after owning a GHD myself (mine is out the door now) for 8 years it is definately worth buying. Saves time and doesn't leave your hair feeling dry and brittle. And I can see that they have just improved immensely with their new design. Would love to have a new GHD ? so many styles you'll never have drab hair. Great review really need 1 of these.

I have a confession to make - I don't own a GHD :( But I am an avid "borrowing-without-permission" sinner when it comes to my hairdresser little sister's GHD. WOW!!
After straightening my hair with a GHD, it remains straight and shiny for at least 2 days, which is a miracle in itself, as I have wavy hair and am constantly in my car (think open windows, sun, aircon, etc.)
After "borrowing" the GHD for 3 days, my colleagues (and even our HR Manager) were all commenting on how great my hair looks - all the while thinking that I went for a Brazilian Blowdry.
After months of struggling with dry, damaged, frizzy hair, the GHD smoothed out not only my hair, but also all my hair problems and after returning to my usual flat iron this morning, I ended up tying up my hair anyway, as the results were just not the same. I miss "my" GHD. A LOT.

What tickles my fancy about the ghd V Lagoon Professional Styler..? Well, it has to be the fantastic mediterranean colours, the power it has to turn my very frizzy ethnic hair into something out of a Baywatch scene. Over the years, I was sceptic to try a flat iron since I thought it better suited caucasian hair, BUT since having had my hair straightened with a ghd (not this exact one); I'd fail the "pencil-hair-test".

I Hve used GHD before, my daughter and I both have naturally curly hair, and when we used a GHD straightner, our styles lasted for 3 days, and that is with moist wheather as well. I just love GHD it is the BEST invention ever. And the color of the new range is too die for.
To top it all off, the genius in the GHD Lagoon V Birds of Paradise styler, is it's rounded body, this help us to create soft gentle curls, or bouncy defined spirals that last up to 6* days (this I tested with a GHD and the curls lasted, without mousse or styling spray, just the GHD heat protect spray, the curls only went away after I washed my hair!
I can actually do so much with the straightner and I just love the fact that it does not damage your hair as badly as other straightners, it smoothes out the hair, and does not damamge the cuticle. GHD Just rules!!!!!!!!!!!

Upon one of my many shopping trips I came across a very interesting find..Gosh cosmetics.
Now let me start off by saying I am n0t the foundation type girl in way,shape or form-too much effort in picking the correct shade and way too much info on the web about applying the correct way and all the tools needed.
However I found this really amazing BB cream from GOSH.
It glides over smoothly (and if you have dry-ish skin like mine..)nice and moisturising without the oiliness
Oh and as for applying it? I do it with my fingers and it goes on evenly every time. it gives you beautiful coverage ( just like a foundation) and moisturises your skin at the same time.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have even looking skin but is a bit frightened to use foundation.
