The Body Shop Almond Body Butter

This is my all time favorite body butter, and I wish TBS would make it part of their permanent body care range. When TBS are having their Summer/Winter sales, this is the first product I grab. I use this on my feet, and have discovered that it keeps them fresh all day long, even on those scorching hot summer days. Ever since, it has been my little miracle worker and a real life saver on days when I am wearing closed shoes.

One of the best things that could happen to my hands and feet! Haha! I find it a bit costly, but buy a few when The Body Shop has their sales and it's totally worth it! I use it religiously every night on my hands and feet and occasionally on my body and it works like a charm.

PS: For darker skinned gals- I've noticed it lightened my hands and feet after using it for nearly 3 weeks. A must have for all!

perfect for winter

I got this butter for R50 which is a steal. It is definitely one of the richest ones from the Body Shop. I used this in winter (in Joburg) when my skin was super parched. I felt my skin drinking it up as I was applying it. It is fefinitely on the thicker side so you will need to rub it in a bit. I wouldn't recommend this for hot summers.

The aroma is lovely but might be a bit overpowering if you use perfume as well. Its best to wear one or the other in my opinion. I recommend this product if you can find one because I think it is discontinued.

First of all I love the smell - its a very distinctive summer smell and it feels like holiday! It makes my skin soft and it feels nourished for the fist time you apply it. You only need a little bit to go a long way. Its not greasy and gets soaked up very easily by your skin - without the sticky feeling you get form some body butters. The coconut body butter come in a body shimmer too - but I haven't seen then in SA yet Hopes it will arrive soon because its the best all in one body treatment with a shimmer! I apply my body butter after a shower and my skin feels soft and nourished all day. The best moisturiser on the market! love you body shop - i have stocked up this month with the sale thats going on! :-)

The Body Shop products are THE most yummy things ever. I can't ever resist getting my hands on all the gorgeous lotions and potions. I don't really suffer from really dry skin in winter, but with the harsh sun and lots of time on the beach, my skin tends to become more sensitive in summer. Solution - get buttered up! I'm crazy about the scent of this butter, and compliments a few fragrances i own (bonus)! The tub is a great size, with the body butter being super creamy. I always apply it after a bath/shower, and use minimal amounts as too much can leave you feeling greasy. Great for all over moisturing!

I'm obsessed with any body butter from The Body Shop so when I ventured out to the post xmas sales and saw this selling for R60 I totally couldn't resist. This is so luxurious and is just sublime. Its not greasy in the least and goes on so smooth without any residue. I love the almond smell which is slight and not overpowering in the least. I never used to like the smell of almond as it reminded me of marzipan but I'm over that LOL!
