Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick

I was first introduced to this product in 2014 by a friend whom is a Make-up artist. She used the shade FIERY on my lips when doing my make up and ever since then I've adored this lipstick. I now have the colour CARINA, at first I thought that it would be a really amazing shade of red... But when I applied it, it was super bright almost like a shade of coral. Even though the colour is bright I kept it and simply applied a dark shade of red to my lips and then applied the Stila All Day Liquid Lipstick to my lips as well and I used my lipstick brush to blend the two colours together and it was perfect. Because of the Liquid Lipstick it still dried Matte. My other Review will be on the Plumpy Girl Blog by the end of this week so don't miss it.

I must say, I really like this. The colour I have (Patina) is absolutely gorgeous, though it took me a few tries to master exactly how to apply this and have it look amazing. It might be a little pricey, but I think it is worth it, and it really does stay put once it is on (provided you do not have anything over the top of it, or too much lip balm underneath it). However, your lips do need to be prepped and exfoliated for this, otherwise imperfections will show up immediately in the form of caking or cracking. It is really lightweight and you don't notice it is on, it dries incredibly quickly and looks stunning. Definitely want to get some more colours in this range.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. This product is super long lasting, has great colour payoff and is perfect to put a lipgloss over if you don't need it to be so matte.
The lipstick smells wonderful and has to be properly washed off ( I find eye make up remover works best) and you are never worried after eating about whether you've smudged your make up or it's come off completely.

I love Amalfi- it's a very hot, striking pink that works wonderfully.
Dolce is beautiful but not the colour I expected. In the bottle it looks more like MAC Twig (my favourite) but once on my lips it's a little more brown- not a problem at all, just not the colour I expected.

I will most definitely be adding more colours to my collection!

While these are indeed pricey, I have no problem spending money on quality and good results. Which is exactly what I got from this lipstick!

It applies so smoothly and evenly, and once it dries (albeit to a slightly darker shade than in the tube), it stays put and looks beautiful and polished for hours.

The shade I bought, Patina, is a Kylie Jenner type shade and really just looks so beautiful.

The Stila Cosmetics Stay All Day Liquid Lip Color, i love it. i still have some left.
it is non sticky, not too shiny and it lasts very long.

it hydrates and leaves your lips feeling soft and motorized while it looks Matt. the smell is divine.

the smell makes my man want to kiss my lips all the time. and even after the kiss it does ware off.


i would recommend it to anyone.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I'm so skeptical when it comes to red lipsticks, particularly because I already have a favourite and having tried so many, I hadn't found one I truly liked. But then... Fiery in the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick's is absolutely divine! It's so matte and full-coverage. Yes! Yes! I would definitely spend R245! Definitely worth the buy :) Also, the applicator makes things so easy I can skip on using a lip liner.

Creamy, matte and full-coverage. These are things I crave in a lipstick and the Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick delivers. When I first applied I was reminded of the Illamasqua Matte Liquid Lipsticks. This one glides on easily and dries to a perfect matte finish in about 30 seconds. If you're a fan of matte lips, you'll fall in love. Bellissima is on the nude side and I found that with my complexion, it was suitable to wear a lip liner.

I absolutely love this liquid lipstick. I have it it in 'Fiore' shade which is a really sexy pink colour and it smells delicious. As you will see on the picture I swatched some on my hand so you can see how it looks, I washed my hands and even took a shower and although it faded more the color was still visible. This must-have lipstick retails for R220 if I'm not mistaken, I bought mine at Woolies. You can also buy it at Kalahari.com and also Rubybox.co.za although I have not seen this particular shade on Rubybox.

I am one of those people that are constantly sipping on coffee at college. I am ask know to permanently have a bottle of water glued to my hand. Because of this, I constantly have to re apply my lipsticks because they just end up on everything my lips touch. The Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick (quite a mouthful hey) is the most amazing lipstick if you are that type of person.
The color Aria is a deep pink, with a hint of purple which looks really nice against my NC 44 skin tone. It looks like a normal dark pink in the tube but it definitely has a hint of purple once on the lips. I will try to take a picture when I get a chance.
The lipstick is in a lipgloss like tube which looks incredibly sleek. It comes with a lipgloss style applicator too. I found that if you apply the lipstick with the applicator, you end up with too much product on your lips. So I apply a few tiny dots on my lips and then take a cotton bud to spread it out. The lipstick dries in a few seconds and you are left with a incredibly beautiful matte lip. I would recommend scrubbing your lips before using this (I use the Bubblegum Lipscrub from Lush) because it does make the lines of your lips stand out and will highlight any peeling and dryness. The lipstick is incredibly dry on your lips which could be a problem if you want moisture on your lips at all time but I really do not mind it. I applied this lipstick at 1PM, drank 3 bottles of water and ate a burger and by 6pm, the lipstick was still on my lips! It looked exactly the way it did when I had applied it.
Definitely a must buy if you are a fan of matte lipstick and are looking for something long lasting. It is a bit of an effort to take off though. My whole entire mouth area was pink! It took a while to scuba off (proving how long lasting it can be). Although, if you are not a fan of dry lips (not a lot of people are) then you would not like this lipstick.
