September Rubybox

ive been so happy with the service at ruby box - I was a loyal client with them for 3 years and when I had to cancel my subscription, they sent me a good bye gift and really made me feel like I was an important customer - it was great dealing with them

So rubybox have come out with a new concept, if you don't like being surprised, you can "build" your own box!
Out of a possible 20 products you "pack" t into your box and then you know exactly what you will be getting, cost wise the box cost R199 every month and general value is about R100 over that depending on what you choose
This month I chose Africology tissue oil full size, Nuxe dry oil with golden shimmer 10mg
John Frieda shampoo 50ml
And a rubybox cat Kohl Eyeliner in grey, overall my box was worth around R350

My August Rubybox was worth about R225.

Botanical Collection Tropical Hand & Nail Cream- R25 (This smells heavenly and is super moisturising!)
Dove Deo- R25... Meh
Rubybox Brush Cleaner- R69.95 This is awesome, a quick spray of this cleans and disinfects your brushes in a flash... This doesn't mean you don't have to properly wash your brushes ladies, this is just an interim measure.
Rubybox Eyeshadow Brush- R99.95 I was hoping for the foundation brush, but this brush is pretty cool too, and the bristles are super soft!

I've been a Rubybox subscriber since the beginning of the year, I'm a bit sad to say that quite a few times I've either got the wrong items or have been utterly disappointed. I have a few mixed feelings about the September Rubybox. This September, Rubybox celebrated their second birthday, and promised to have two sets of "twin" products in the box.

In the Rubybox video, there was promises to be a John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner as well as Salvatore Ferragamo Tuscan Soul Bath and Shower Gel and Body Lotion.

In my Rubybox I received:

I was glad that at least I got ONE of the twin sets while everyone else got TWO! So absolutely disappointed because this box wasn't even worth it. I have an old Rubybox box which is filled with samples which I may never use. Both the Shower Gel and Body Lotion are only 75ml which really isn't much, however the nail polish is AMAZING! I'll have a review coming up soon! I received the polish in the shade Vivacious, which is a vibrant orange/red shade, perfect for Summer and Spring.

My thoughts on the items:
Salvatore Ferragamo Tuscan Soul Bath and Shower Gel and Body Lotion: Both have a lovely fresh citrus scent which I suppose is perfect for Spring, the scent is a bit strong but not overwhelming. You do feel a bit luxurious with the texture and scent.

Taylor by Taylor Swift: I really don't like Taylor Swift's "Music" or whatever she'd like to call it, but I must say her fragrance is a Spring scent through and through. It's a very fruity scent which you can smell from the first spray, I feel it's a lovely Vanilla and Musk, which are two of my favourite scents in a fragrance!

VÀO Vernis à Ongles Nail Polish: I love this polish, if Rubybox gave me more shades I would happily accept, this nail polish only needs ONE COAT! It gives nails a lovely intense colour which is vibrant and smooth to the touch. This polish is quick drying and lasts quite long because I've been using it for around four days with no chips, it's a miracle.

Hopefully the next Rubybox will be much better and have more samples!

A kerastase elixir ultime moringa immortal, Salvatore Feragamo body lotion an bath and shower gel!

I am disappointed as i did not recieve anything else and sent in a lot of referral email of which I know at least two signed up, I am going to send in a complaint now and will let you know how that goes!
