I seriously hated this stuff! I could not come right with it and such frustration sitting doing pretty nail art and then as soon as I applied this it would cracking and start peeling. Such a waste of my money. It cracks even if I applying on its own straight to my nail. It gives sally Hansen a bad name

I bought this top coat as I love doing nail art designs on my nails and a top coat is needed to lock in the design, but I was really disappointed! 5 - 10 minutes after applying my nail polish started cracking and it looked horrible - like mosaic. After a couple of hours the polish started peeling off.
I tried it with different brands of nail polish, thinking at first that maybe the brands where not compatible, I had the same issue with every single one I tried. Nail art designs and plain polish.

I really love this top coat, firstly because it is inexpensive and almost everyone can afford it, secondly because it is really worth it and thirdly, because I am not very patient when doing work or something which I know is going to damage my polish if I'm not careful, but I still do it anyway, so luckily this top coat helps protect my colour for longer, without any chips or cracks in my nail polish. The longest I've actually seen my polish last with this product is a week on my fingers and almost two weeks on my toes. So over and all I'd really recommend you give this product a try, you can't say no to longer lasting nail colour.

One of my pet peeves is when I've spent a lot of time painting my nails and giving them time to dry - loving them for a while and then something stupid happens and I chip the polish off my nails. It has a soul-crushing feeling that makes me want to cry at times because I don't feel like sitting for ages having to do it all over again (especially if you've managed to do something beautifully to your nails when attempting nail art).
This product has really been such a blessing to find and has now become a staple. Sally Hansen products have always been remarkable and of such high quality that I didn't hesitate to purchase this and at R69 is is also very affordable - especially considering all the time and frustration it saves you.
It dries relatively quickly to a high gloss shine and truly does protect your nails from the chips that are easily picked up when performing your day to day activities.
