This was the first matte lipstick I ever bought. I like the formula - it applies creamy and then dries down to what I would describe more as a velvet-matte.
I don't find it very drying on my lips compared to other brands I have tried, but if your lips are even slightly chapped before applying, it will definitely be noticeable.
As far as the formula goes, I sometimes feel it's not matte enough for my liking, but it's great for a daytime look if you're using one of the more neutral shades.
I get about 3 hours of wear before I need a touch-up, even though the lipstick does transfer when eating or drinking, but this is to be expected since it's not specifically a long-wearing lipstick.
If you like a velvet-matte finish, and a formula that lasts a good amount of time but is easy to remove, you will love this!
I will definitely purchase this lipstick again as it is reasonably priced, the quality is good, and the velvet-matte finish isn't too harsh for a daytime look.

I love how fast it dries! Just make sure your lips are happy and moist before applying. Tends to make my lips chappy after awhile .

I recieved this product in a goodie bag at an event last year and although the colour is not something I would wear I love the formula.
Revlon deserves a thumbs up when it comes to consistency, the pigmentation is amazing, colour is great and bold with first application, and the formula lightweight and moisturizing. I would say more of a velvet matte as it leaves your lips feeling a bit soft after application.

These creamy liquid lipsticks are classy, compact, cute and lady – all in one.
The frosted bottled gives the impression of the lipstick being matte which totally works for the brand.
Application is creamy and smooth and rather moisturizing in comparison to other matte sticks. It smells absolutely divine. The second you open it, you will want it on your lips. That’s how good it smells.
The shades are well pigmented so you can expect it to dry and last for quite some time. There’s a shade for almost every skin tone out there.
I don’t think it’s completely matte though or maybe it just took long to get to the matte effect.
I have a few shades in my collection because they’re just cuteness and they get the job done throughout the day. You easily can whip this out of your handbag and not be embarrassed. 100% thumbs up on the design for this one!!

This lipstick does not dry down to a completely matte finish. It does have some staying power but I did find that it does transfer quite a bit. I like it because it fades nicely and doesn't flake off like some matte lipsticks. It was more comfortable to wear because it did not dry down as well.

I love this lip product. Although it says matte, it doesn't actually dry to a matte finish. I have it in the colour seduction and it's such a nice pinky nude. It smells nice and unlike other matte lip products it doesn't dry out my lips, it's quite moisturising. It isn't kiss proof and I found that if you layer it after a while for touch ups it can look quite thick. other than those 2 problems it's such a nice product.

Revlon is one of the 1st brands that come to mind when I think of Lip Products and that is why I was so happy to try this range. I have it in the colour "Passion" which is a deep, berry toned Red. As a Revlon lover for most of my makeup life, I was not too impressed by this product which really breaks my heart as Revlon is one of my go-to brands. Here are my thoughts all summed up.
Pros:
1. The packaging is adorable and I love the new look
2. The smell of this product is great. It has a very strong sweet scent which I find delightful
3. The colour pay-off is intense and buttery!
4. The colour selection is not bad at all. There is something nice for everyone
5. The colour is long-lasting
Cons:
1. This product will feather and bleed over your natural lip line/lipliner like there is no tomorrow. I am not sure if this is only a problem with the very dark colour I chose but a few hours after application, it moves all over!
2. It never stops transferring. When you wear such a dark colour, you need it to stay in 1 place as much as possible. If you even graze your lips slightly, you will get covered in product.
If not for these 2 cons, this would have been a fantastic product in my opinion! The lighter shades might prove less troublesome.

Let me start off by saying “ OH MY GOD!” Every time Revlon South Africa launches a new product in South Africa, it gets better and better and BETTER. I think we’ve officially came across the best product Revlon can offer us, introducing Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor. I love how everything about this lipstick screams CLASSY! The lipstick is packaged in a gorgeous matte tube, with a shimmering soft matte silver lid, with a package like this, the lipstick is definitely going to get some admirers.
As soon as you open the tube, the deliciously sweet scent hits you, it is a subtle vanilla scent, a scent so yummy, you can’t help but catch yourself sniffing this liquid lipstick a few times just because it smells so good. The applicator gets a big THUMBS UP from me, it is a paddle applicator, which means you get enough product on both sides of the applicator, so you can coat your lips in two coats of this matte lipstick.
Here comes a little bit of the disappointment, the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour isn’t 100% matte, yes it leaves lips with a gorgeous velvety colour, but to me it isn’t completely matte, which I don’t have a problem with at all… in fact, I find it much more comfortable to use to work on a daily basis, and the colour last through the long boring meetings and the quick lunches.
I have the shade 635 HD Passion, which is an eye catching dark pink colour, the perfect shade for a girls night out, or a quick lunch date, for me… this shade is my everyday to go lipstick, since purchasing it, I’ve worn it everyday to work for two weeks so far, I think I’m a little obsessed. I love how the lipstick sits so comfortably on lips, without creasing, no fading and best part.. no flaking off or tight feeling like your lips are facing a drought.
To make sure you get the best look with the Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolour, make sure you exfoliate lips regularly because it makes a HUGE difference, and apply a thin layer of lip balm first and lightly blot your lips, so your lips are moisturised before you apply the lipstick. The Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor retails for R150.

I was so happy to find an affordable MATTE (my absolute obssession this season from lips to nails) lip colour. Although dissapointed at first that it seemed a bit shiny it does mattify after a few minutes - a light dab with a tissue speeds up the process. They have quite a nice range of colours I just wish they had made a shade just a little bit darker (like a dark maroon) as its very in this season. But all the 8 different shades are all very trendy (my faves are the nude and coral) I like the packaging it's unique and I'm happy that although it's almost a lipgloss if I might say so it doesn't feel sticky and has a smooth application which is a huge plus for me..
