REVLON COLORSTAY® GOLD STANDARD TOP COAT

Revlon Nail Care ColorStay Gold Standard Top Coat is supposed to extend a manicure for up to 10days. I received a free bottle with a purchase of Revlon ClourStay nail polish. The Revlon Nail Care ColorStay Gold Standard Top Coat gives my nail polish a high shine. It is easy to apply. It extends my nail polish to 7 days without chipping depending on the type of nail polish. This has been my go to top coat.

This has been my go to top coat for a very long time, actually ever since Revlon started selling it. I would look out for the promotions when you would get it free with a Revlon nail polish purchased. I would get a week nail polish wear when applying this top coat. You would see the nail polish cracking, but the flexibility of the top formula keeps the nail polish intact until you ready to remove it. also try to ad the basics to you manicure to extend its life. Like cuticle removing and applying the base I would highly recommend this product.

I try to always use a top coat when applying nail varnish as my fingers and nails are quite hardworking and I hate having to apply new nail colour ever other day.

I bought this top coat at a pharmacy clear out for a mere R30. When I used this on a cheap brand of nail polish, by the second day I had chips and this is with the top coat. The crazy thing is, when I wear this particular nail polish without this top coat it lasts for up to 4-5 days!

Anyway, the brush is thin and a few glides covers the whole nail and the handle is round and thick.

I'm not sure what the normal retail price is but I'd give this one a miss. It definitely doesn't live up to its claim of extending the life of your nail colour to 10 days.
