NYX Luscious Lip Gloss Palette (The Perfect Everyday Colors)

Wow, it really looks great, and being able to mix colours are awesome! And I love that it includes a brush.

Is it very glossy once applied? I have never used a gloss palette before, only a lipstick one.

I got this gorgeous palette in my October Rubybox. I was pleasantly surprised because I didn't have one. This NYX Luscious Lipgloss Palette actually comes in 8 varieties. Each variety has a total of 5 lipgloss shades. That's 5 in one! How great is that. The thin black casing is pretty neat and compact so it fits in your handbag. It also contains a handy mirror and a brush for application.

The variety I got is "The Naturals" which consists of 5 shades which anyone with any skin tone can wear. This makes it perfect because you have a shade for whatever outfit you are wearing. You can even mix the colours with the brush to create a shade which suits you.

The gloss itself is great. It glides on super quick and it is very moisturising unlike most glosses. I do tend to feel that the product does not last very long. And you do have to frequently reapply to have the same effect.

It is a great buy though. You can pick up the NYX Lip Gloss Palette for an easy R99.95 so the price is pretty cheap.

I purchased the lip gloss in reds as well. I do agree that the product is more like a lipstick rather than a lip gloss, however I love lipstick and I really didn't mind. The colour was deep and lasted long

I was excited to try the NYX brand and bought the lip gloss palette. I must say for me I was disappointed at the fact that after applying it on my lips, it looked like I had lipstick on instead of a gloss. The lipstick brush is exactly what chicara said, small and flimsy. I have tried to mix it with a clear gloss on top to make them look glossier but colour gloss doesnt last long on your lips.

I thought I did a review on this palette, I guess not. I have the palette of reds and I agree with Chicara with what she said. To me its more like tinted lipbalms than lip gloss
I think for the price its good value for money especially since you get five shades and I like all the shades in the red palette as it ranges from brown reds to orange red.

The consistency is quite thick & creamy and they apply more like a hydrating lipstick then a sticky lip-gloss. They have a slightly fruity scent. They have a faint shimmer in them, but when it's on your lips it looks more like a glossy shine. Their staying power is pretty average.

The colours are nicely pigmented. The brush that is included is useless. It's too small, too narrow and too flimsy.
