I love the lipstick lingerie although it dries out my lips if I put on a another layer during the day. First of all, out of the experience, apply lipstick after a good lippie scrub and a lippie balm for longer-lasting soft moisturizing lips! secondly, if you want to add another layer during the day, rather take it off first and redo it, otherwise, it will feel cakey, dry and too much! Overall the pigment of this lipstick is amazing & long-lasting!

The pigmentation and colour pay off that you get from this liquid lipstick is great! Though it does make you lips look a little crusty after a wearing it for a while.
Overall it is a great lip product and I would recommend that you apply it to exfoliated and well moisturized lips for the best results.

People always ask me where I get my nude lip colours and NYX has been my go to from day 1.
The liquid suedes are a little more hydrating than the lingerie but overall they’re all amazing and the soft matte lip creams match darker skin tones better.

I love matte lipsticks, unfortunately i found this Liquid lipstick to be abit to drying on my lips, especially if you add an additional layer during the day, despite this, it is still long lasting, and does not bleed. I might repurchase a different shade, as the one I got was 'bedtime flirt'

Definitely long wearing and the colours are really great. It can be a bit drying but for the price this is really a fantastic liquid lipstick to start out with.

It does what it says, I really love the colours. It is quite drying but if the right process is used to leading up to application then that can definitely be combatted. Unfortunately, it isn't my go-to matte long-wear lip product. I find that other brands like Wet 'n Wild have the same product that costs less and is slightly better quality.

I've tried some of these in-store. So there's such a large variety (twenty-four, I think) that I couldn't commit to one, and I ended up buying four. (Satin Ribbon, Lace Detail, Ruffle Trim and Embellishment.) Packaging, colours and colour names: 10/10, okay. I loved the fun names, the packaging is so cute and and these colours are beautiful! I have to admit, though, that these do tend to flake on already dry lips.
I'd recommend that you apply lip balm before wearing one of these. Fading starts at around the six-hour mark., which is impressive for a matte lipstick from NYX.

I own the shade 'teddy' and it is patchy , not dry, tho cracks up fast if eating.

I love this product! :) Especially the brown and nude shades they have :)
The formula applies nice and smoothly, the colour is opaque so there is no need to layer up :) The smell is pleasant but subtle. The packaging is cute and doesn't feel cheap, I like the amount you get for the price however I'd still say the price could be lowered but they last a LONG WHILE so it may be worth it in that regard :)
The applicator is slightly flatter and longer, it applies product nicely onto the lips. Make sure your lips have been exfoliated as it tends to cling on dry spots, otherwise the staying power is great! If you eat and it has faded, rather remove it all and then reapply instead of applying straight on top as this sometimes can cake up the product :)
Overall I am really pleased with these and shall be buying more soon :)

Nyx is one of my absolute favorite brands!! And I was very excited to try this range. I chose "Embellishment" which has a subtle purple tone. I am obsessed with purple products. I applied a thin layer as suggested on youtube. I have to say it is very long wearing and dries absolutely matte in seconds which is fantastic but this is a product to use when you need something to stay put and you won't be eating. The moment you start eating or drinking without a straw, it starts to crumble at the inner rim of the lip which just irritates me and makes me lick at it and my lips all day long. It makes that gross white build up line when the product gets wet.
You can always re-apply if you want to but I find this makes it even worse. If you do decide to eat and drink while wearing this, just remove it all and apply a fresh coat as it can get pretty thick. I don't hate this product at all, I do enjoy it occasionally as it does not transfer at all but I can't stand the crumbling. If I have an event where I won't be dining, this is perfect as it stays perfectly in place all day long without any smudging but KEEP YOUR LIPS DRY!!

This range of nudes as well thought out by the NYX brand. The variety of browns is able to cater for a lot of different undertones.
The liquid stick applies smoothly, like velvet. Make sure your lips are exfoliated or it well settle beautifully in your lips' cracks. It goes dry and matte in just a few seconds, which is great because I am not the most patient person that I know. It can be quite drying to my lips though so I make sure I have on some Vaseline near by throughout the day. It lasts at least 4 hours even when I am eating and consuming warm and cold beverages.
As a chocolate girl, finding the right nude shade(s) is a struggle as most nudes are not formulated with my skin tone in mind, but when I tried this range, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of shades that went with my skin tone alone. I dont need lip liner, the colour pay off is excellent.

The social media advertising for this product looks and sounds sexy and who doesn't want their lip color to look sexy.
I loved the NYX Matt lip gloss, so naturally I was ready to fall in love with he lingerie lip colors.
I was looking for a dark brown, but the color on my looked brown / purple and I don't have purple toned lips.
The color made me look dull - I don't think I will use it again.
The colors in this range are also very similar in lighter or darker shades.
It just doesn't seem to compliment my skin tone.

I own alot of liquid lipsticks and this is currently one of my favs. I like the range of colours for my medium skin tone. All liquid lipsticks are drying to some degree but I find 1 light coat of this one feels almost weightless. I sometimes forget I have it on. I dont find it as drying as some of my other lipsticks .It wears of nicely and doesn't turn into a sticky mess. It also doesnt crack and flake off.

I feel like this product is a bit tricky to review. Reason being, it has pros and cons that could be viewed differently by many.
Pros:
-Amazing colours, amazing dupes for multiple Kylie Lip Kit colours and Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks. (100% dupe for Anastasia liquid lipstick in "Pure Hollywood" in shade "Lace Detail" in NYX range.
-Perfect nudes for variety of skin tones.
-Super long lasting , quite difficult to take off though.
Cons.
-Very drying, and if you apply it on already dry lips then the cracks are made VERY visible.
-Streaky application - I find it difficult to apply it well without it looking bumpy and streaky. Therefore I use a lip brush to help me with it
