Neutrogena Visibly Clear Grapefruit Gel Wash

Used the product for six months. Gave me this glow where people were complimenting my face but I had the problem with how the first time I started using it I had a breakout. Not a product to use in winter seasons.

I have been using this product for years now, it is my favorite. I have oily skin and this has helped tremendously to keep my skin balanced and clear. It has a slight fruity scent to it and a gel like texture. This isn't very moisturizing though, so I would recommend using a light cream after :)
It sells for R120 at Dischem and Clicks, and it is definitely worth the price because one bottle lasts a long time.

Smells great but I would not re-buy this as I found it terribly drying. I have combination to oily (t-zone) skin.

I tend to rotate my cleansers, and this is one of my regular buys. It does a great job of cleansing my oily skin and leaves it feeling refreshed and clean, without stripping it of moisture.
The scent is really great too.

Used this on the recommendation of many positive reviews. It smells very nice. It did not help with my skin quality or my acne or my pigmentation. It made them worse, probably because of the heavy scent it has. Would not recommend this at all. It is far too harsh a gel cleanser, find yourself a less harsh one, even if you think you need a tough one for oily skin like me. It strips the skin way too much of natural oils (which makes you more prone to breaking out).

The Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit cleanser is definitely my go-to cleansing product. I've lost track of how many times I've actually bought it!
I don't have super acne-prone skin, but do suffer the occasional breakout. I find that when I use this cleanser I break out less frequently than I would using a different one.
The smell is refreshing and uplifting, and the formula itself is great- I really feel that I get a thorough clean even on days when I wear a full face of makeup. It also helps to keep my oily T-zone in check.
After cleansing, my skin just feels clean, not tight and dry.

All in all, this is a great product, and it's about the same price as many other cleansers on the market. Will definitely keep buying this!

I love this product! The wash is foamy and really helped to clear up my blackheads which are usually very stubborn. It smells great, lasts long and the pump bottle is user friendly.

Has a fresh scent. Leaves skin visibly radiant, squeaky clean and smooth. Not badly priced either.

I've been using this for a month now. It has a pleasant light grapefruit scent, which is very energising in the morning. It works very well. I haven't had any breakouts since using the Neutrogena range. This doesn't dry out the skin and keeps it feeling soft and smooth. I'll be sticking to this for awhile!!

Loved the fact that it took off all my makeup in one sweep - I'm too lazy to be bothered with the eye makeup remover, cream cleanser, etc. I also really liked the fresh, clean grapefruit smell - even though it reminded me a bit of my new dishwashing liquid (Neutrogena products have an uncanny similarity in smell to some of my domestic cleaning materials...) A very good, inexpensive cleanser for oily skins.

I am a big fan of Neutrogena and this face wash does not disappoint. The fruity scent is absolutely lovely and I have noticed a reduction in blackheads especially on my nose. I agree with the others about the dry, tight feeling you're left with (to be expected though since the product is aimed at oily/acne-prone skin). That's fixed with moisturiser though. I think I'll try the daily exfoliating wash next to compare the two.

I absolutely love, love, love, this face wash. Besides smelling delicious enough to eat, its so gentle on your skin and cleans your skin beautifully. I have seen an improvement in my skin since using this product. I recommend this to all ladies of all ages! 5 out of 5!

I’ve a huge Neutrogena fan and have been using the Visibly Clear range since January this year. When the Grapefruit range was launched I immediately rushed out to try it. I have since tried the daily exfoliating wash and now the gel wash. Between the two I prefer the exfoliating one.

I find that with gel washes it dries my skin out a lot. This one also left my skin exceptionally dry and tight after cleansing especially round my lower cheek and chin area. It does cleanse effectively removing makeup and other surface dirt. I would recommend this cleanser for combination to oily skin types.

This retails for around R75 at Clicks but I'm sure its a tad cheaper at Discem.
