I bought this product a few months ago at Dischem (around R80) as I was out of my usual purple/silver shampoo and they didn't have stock of my usual budget-friendly alternative. I have been rocking grey/platinum tresses for the past year or so on and off and keeping my tones "cool" is super important.
Pro's:
*Affordable
*Foams/lathers well (little product goes a long way)
*Has loads of pigment - for epic toning
Con's:
*Can be quite drying (this is quite common with high-pigment shampoo's in general)
*You need to pair it with a super moisturizing/repair conditioner and/or treatment
I am super impressed with the results. I use it once or twice a week and will leave it on for a few minutes if I feel like my hair needs an extra boost. I have to stress that you will end up with dry and damaged hair if you don't use a good treatment/conditioner afterwards, this is not just due to the shampoo but also because your hair is probably already a bit fragile after the bleaching/coloring process which got your tresses all bright and blonde/platinum/grey/gray in the first place.
