I bought a whole lot of products from the Me & My Ice Cream Range. I am not a big fan of pastel colours because I know how many coats of polish it requires to get the bottle colour. However there was just something about the mint green colour that caught my eye, it was soft and sheer and I knew I had to purchase it. I applied it with a clear base coat. The first coat was definitely uneven and didn't look neat. So I added a second layer. The polish however was so sheer, I could still see my nails under, so I did the BIG MISTAKE and added a third coat. Yes I waited about half an hour for my nails to dry, but I got the colour exactly how it looked on the bottle. These polishes are quite affordable, however quality wise, for pastel colours, they aren't as good as Essie or Morgan Taylor, but I guess they okay for a two to three day manicure.

I finally got my hands on the Me and My Ice-cream range from Essence! I also got a few other goodies, which I am hoping to review soon. The range is exclusive to Clicks, and full of yummy smelling pastel shades, from blush, lip balm, hand wipes, eye shadows, nail art goodies and of course nail polish.
I bought all four polishes, I just couldn't resist, and I used three of them in this manicure. I used the peach, which is called Icylicious, the mint which is called Always in My Mint and the lilac called Ice Ice Baby. I used Revlon's Gold Coin for the accent nail, and my thumb.
I am absolutely in love with these pastel shades. They are a bit streaky to begin with, but from the second and third coat, application is smooth.
