The first time I used this mascara it was because we were heading out and my friend had handed me hers. It had a small pointed brush which could reach the insides and bottoms of my lashes quite nicely. I then purchased it for myself later but to my disappointment it did not have the same brush. I have naturally long lashes. It is so hard to apply this without having clumps or having way too much on my lashes, despite wiping off the excess on the brush before applying. I am not happy especially since this wasn't a cheap product. I will not be repurchasing, its just laying in my makeup bag.

I probably am one of the few people that doesn't like this mascara!i find it very average and probably ok as a first start mascara! I seem to get mine free when i but at beauty fairs!i wouldn't actually buy it! But cos people rave about this mascara and for some it's considered a cult classic i thought i would try it! I have naturally long lashes! I use mascara as my loose powder normally ends up coating the tips and the tips if my lashes are somewhat sun bleached! This mascara could look awesome on my lashes as i only need colour depositing! Instead i found it thick and it clumped and gave me tarantula lashes!

Myself i prefer a bigger brush that delivers in one maybe two coats! I've used this when getting used to a mascara in my younger days! It has a small brush enabling you to get to bottom and side lashes with ease! I find my eyes very reactive to this particular one as my eyes itch and tear in seconds of application! Why this occurs I'm not sure as I've used other varieties under the maybelline umbrella without a problem!it enables build able cover to get volume and length! I feel the product splashes a bit and may need blotting when it comes out the container! All in all these days i know what i want in a mascara! This is not for me! As I've said probably a good starter mascara for someone new to mascara
