I was so young when this mascara was released. It might the of the oldest Maybeline product ever. When I went to the Clicks store for the 1st time with my own money to buy my 1st REAL makeup, this was the mascara I chose. I was all about natural looking makeup and needed a mascara I could wear to school and get away with. This was it and boy did I love it...love it still!
It seperates lashes perfectly so no clumpy mess or flaking at the end of the day. This is the perfect mascara for a natural look or for ladies who have sensitive eyes and can't wear heavy mascaras. It is also great for fine and short lashes like my own and won't get all over your lid like all the "WOW and OOH" effects brands do.
This is also a great product is you buy two different mascaras for your lids. I sometimes buy something that ads a lot of volume to my upper lashes and then I will use this one for my lower lashes to make sure they are seperated and natural looking.
This is one of those products that I will always reach for no matter how "old and outdated" it gets.
When I first used this Mascara I was amazed at how small the brush was. I think im just used to the modern day big brushes. Im actually glad that it is smaller than most mascaras because I like to use it to coat my bottom lashes and to get those top lashes hiding in the corner. I then go in with a bigger brush mascara and just make the lashes darker and thicker. I love the combination.
What I love most about this mascara is the container. When taking out the spoolie there is a nice tight suction type of passage that you pull the spoolie through and it just cleans the brush perfectly leaving on a perfect amount of product.
I highly recommend this product if you want a classic, easy to use mascara.
Probably one of the oldest Maybelline products still on the market! All the Maybelline mascaras I have tried are fantastic.. but I still always seem to go back to this one. Its plastic brush and bristles keep every application clump free and the mascara doesn’t collect in the brush. All lashes are covered in just a few strokes. And gives the final affect of natural looking false lashes. And it really is waterproof! I have even swam whilst wearing it and it doesn’t run or smudge. Does take an oil based make up remover and a little more time to remove properly though.
I've had this mascara for a while now and I can honestly say that it's given me such bang for my buck! It can constitute for all the eye make up you'd need for the day because of the drama it brings. I've gotten tonnes of compliments on my "eyelash extensions", which is great, as a student budgets doesn't really allow for extensions. The only criticism I could offer is that it does tend to clump after using it for a while. *do be sure to apply the second coat before the first coat dries, this will avoid any cracking as it is quite a heavy mascara.
I love this Mascara, it goes on so smoothly and really lengthens and coats my lashes. I also love how it does not smudge, it really is a must for my makeup kit.
The brush is the best. No clumping or chunky bits of mascara to have to deal with. It's great for people who want to accentuate their lashes and still keep it quite natural.
I received this mascara in one of my glam boxes when they were still around and I must say it was one of the best mascaras that I had ever used, the wand has a different shape to other mascaras which helps me get into the corners of my eyes where those little baby lashes are , it makes things a lot easier and my eyelashes feel nice and big with this mascara - I would definitely recommend it :)

Most of the reviews on this mascara are kind of negative but I truly find this is one of the best mascaras around. I have been using it for a few years as my every day natural look mascara. It comes in brown and blackest black, the wand helps you achieve length but not to much volume, as I said before it is more of a daytime mascara and not really for a party/doe-eyed look. I do however struggle to remove the waterproof version off of my lashes so I tend to stick with the regular formula.
I have always had issues with mascaras but with maybelline it has always presnted me with the best ranges. No tears not black markings. love Maybelline!!!!!!
It is not a bad mascara but it does require more than one coat depending on preference. It has a small brush so you may apply easier to the corners and it does not clump.
My mom took me into clicks last week to treat me to a new mascara, I have previously been using the essences cheapies and I have loved them! Anyway she wanted to buy me a nice new one, she told me this particular mascara has been around since my mom was my age, that really amazed me, because so many ranges come and go, this volume mascara has stayed and stayed in the same tube and all!
I got the blackest black. I was so shocked when I opened it because the brush is so small, I usually prefer large "juicy" brushes.
I am enjoying this one for a change it gives a lot of volume and because the brush is small it gets all the small lashes!
Maybelline's Great Lash Lots of Lashes is great! I found that it does not flake off as bad as other mascaras do. My favorite part about this mascara is the brush, it is kind of a cone shape so it flares out the ends of your lashes giving your eyes more of a 'pop'. They brush easily separates the lashes and you are able to applying a second coat before allowing it to dry so that it does not clump! It definately makes my eyes come alive :)
I love this product because it is a simple product that gives you great results. The mascara applies easily and without any lumps or clumps. Thus, there really is no need for two coats. It instantly opens your eyes and just looks amazing.
It is extremely long lasting – I have even worn it out on a day to the beach and did not experience any runniness or smudging. And it also removes quite easily with lukewarm water and cotton wool.
I have been reading up on how people can't find the best mascara, and i have tried everything from Max Factor's Memoirs of a Geisha Mascara, to lancome, to cheap buys, to big in-your-face mascara brushes that just mess up and clump your eye lashes... and my conclusion is, if it is tried and tested and been here forever, it probably is best! Nicole Richie, Adriana Lima and even "Serena" in Gossip Girl uses it! They can't be wrong.
Dependable, affordable, but I think Maybelline have stronger performing products.

Very decent mascara, loved by many, and can't really be faulted. In my experience I have found better performing products from Maybelline like Colossal Volum' Express, this is because I don't have long lashes and so I require something with a little more 'ooommff'.
