Mandy's Facial Wax Strips

I tried this even though I did not like the Mandy's shaving cream. I figured that it's a matter of different strengths. I like Mandy's products because they are affordable but it seems as though they are designed to only remove wisps and not actual hair. Not for me.

Hair removal wax strips ? Haha ... no. Does it remove hair ? Nope. But does it leave wax residue all over your face ? Oh, indeed it does. If you are looking to waste your time, irritate your skin and ruin your face - THIS IS THE PRODUCT FOR YOU !!! I have spend the better part of 7 hours with wax on my face , and yes that does include going out in public to get stuff done , a sincere fuck you to Mandy , and good wishes to you all - save yourself from this product. And if you've also fallen victim .... say it with me now - FUCK YOU MANDY !!

First of all i used the Mandy's microwave waxing kit,. what a waste. I then decided to try this (well the leg one, not for face), it worked perfectly. i no longer go get my legs professionally waxed and it takes me less than 30 minutes to do my legs and at half the price :)

I bought this for my upper lip, despite redoing it several times it did not remove the hair and left a horrible sticky residue that just would not come out ( for about 24 hours). The next day my upper lip felt very dry and rough. Threw the box away.

I only use this if i have to travel! Cos it requires minimal effort and fuss to cart around! My own experience is that its ineffectual and leaves a significant amount of hair behind especially the niggly coarser hairs at the corner of the lip!it leaves skin sticky and has even messed up my tweezer!

For the Girl on the Run this is a good product.

i use it mainly on on my upper lip... it works well but does not remove hair 100 percent. i always find a few strands left behind.

it does sometimes leave a lot of wax on my skin but vaseline works perfectly in removing the wax off your skin

i have had a few mishaps like small skin bruises... but i think that comes with inexperience

its easy to do and lasts long

Sometimes I do not have enough time to go to my beautician for a wax and I am forced to use wax strips at home.
I find that these strips work perfectly for your upper lip but not very well for your eyebrows. The strips are too broad for your eyebrows and if you are not very careful, a piece of your eyebrow might just go missing!
If you have sensitive skin, these strips are not for you. They have come out with a sensitive version but that does not seem to help either. My sister used these and she had a terrible breakout afterwards.
I had the opposite experience. My hair was completely removed and my skin was left smooth.
These wax strips also come with a tiny packet of lotion which helps cool down your skin after the wax and helps if you have leftover wax on your face.
A quick tip to remember is that you can heat up the strips slightly with your hair dryer instead of rubbing it between your palms.

As i have NO time on my hands, i find this product extremely time effective. I usually cut the wax to the shape of my brow, and in just one pull, my eyebrows are done :-)

I then use tissue oil to remove any excess wax which is left on my brows

I love these wax strips, if I don't have enough time to run to the salon for threading, I just wax my face at home. However when I first tried it, it was quite tricky. It left behind a lot of wax on my face, which needed oil to remove, but I learnt how to heat them properly. Instead of using hands to heat the strip, use a hair dryer on low and it works perfectly

Perhaps I was doing it wrong, but when I removed the wax strips, it would always leave a lot of wax behind, along with a couple strands of hair. I've never had this experience with other brands though. It is, however, cheaper than most other brands.

Best wax strips I have used so far! There is also a sensitive version which comes with two lotion-like packets, it is a bit more expensive but they really do help get the wax off :) Great at removing your unwanted hairs, however I do sometimes need to go back and do a little touch up

I think the quality of this product is slowly deteriorating, used to work like a bomb & now I find it doesnt do a good job anymore :(
I've started to use more wax stips than I used to use before

I've always been one for plucking, but using wax is just so much quicker and easier! These wax strips are so user-friendly, no one could mess it up. I use them for my eyebrows, and i'm always happy with the results. The wax strips are small and easy to handle, and find every hair (although i do end up plucking out one or two tiny ones)! The skin around my eyes (eyebrows) is really sensitive, and i struggle with a lot of products that make me look like i've got a black eye, but Mandy's wax is one of the few that i can use confidently & without worry. Try it.

I love these little wax strips! In my opinion they work better than those from veet. I am generally very "hairy" lol. So I use the strips on my top lip, my eyebrows, the line of fine hair below my navel and even on the fine hair on my big toes lol (like janis said, thank god this is an all female website!). Removes unwanted hair really easily and efficiently and your skin feels so smooth afterwards!

I know some wax strips will rip your skin out. This product doesn't rip the skin, its not agressive on the skin.

Its quite worth while getting this product, as it last quite a long time.

I have never been comfortable with going to a beautician to get waxed so when I discovered Mandy's wax strips I was so happy :) They work so well and they aren't messy, which is a huge bonus because generally hot wax is and yet it has the same effectiveness as hot wax.

Unfortunately for me I have hair on my top lip (I'm so glad this is a all female website). Its not alot or really visible but its there and it bothers me so I wax it off. Any kind of facial hair is a huge no no for me. The whole waxing thing takes some getting used to it but I'm a pro now and I can rip off the strip without blinking or flinching. Its pretty easy to use but there is some redness afterwards but thats to be expected and it goes away in no time.
