FACE MASKS
natural face maskAll Skin Types:

2 egg whites, separated from the yolk and placed in a bowl
2 tablespoons of plain yogurt (I like Greek yogurt)

Separate the egg whites from a couple eggs and place them in a bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of yogurt (do not use flavored yogurt!). Mix them up and apply to face. Leave on face for a few minutes then rinse face in warm water, followed by a warm washcloth.

Dry Skin:
half an avocado
quarter cup honey

A classic recipe for dry skin. Mash the avocado in a bowl, then stir in honey.
Apply to skin and leave for 10 minutes.
Rinse face with a cool washcloth.

Avocados and honey are particularly moisturizing. This mask is particularly great for mature, wrinkled and dry skin. It’s best to use a ripe, fresh, organic avocado. Make sure to mash it up into a creamy pulp.

Oily Skin:
4-6 washed strawberries
1 Table spoon plain yogurt

Mash strawberries for a fork then add yougurt and mix well into a smooth paste and apply to face.

Your skin can change with the seasons. Skin that becomes oily in the hot summer months can become drier in winter and in central heating. So take your skin’s quirks into account when choosing your mask.

  1. Cleanse your face before applying the chosen face mask. Afterwards, rinse with warm water and than apply moisturizer.
  2. Most face masks should be left on the skin for between 3 and 10 minutes. For the best results, read the instructions carefully.
  3. If you have combination skin, use two masks – one suitable for oily skin and one for dry skin. Just apply each one to the area that needs it.
