I Bought the Lux Soft Touch Beauty Bar after seeing the many ads on TV, I wasn't very satisfied with it, since it left my skin feeling very dry afterwards,I would recommend the Body Wash rather than the soap for people with dry skin, the only good things for me about the beauty bar was the nice fragrance it had and the design on top of the soap

Im deff not a Soap bar person esp with my sensitive skin however my husband swears By them...
after trying this bar for a week ive noticed my skin is much softer and more mosturized than before .
this is a big change compared to the Lux soap Bars I new before which would steal the smoothness of my skin.
go out and try it

I went and bought my own lux beauty bar after reading all the reviews. I was surprised because previously Lux use to dry out my skin excessively. Firstly, the bar is very reasonable for any beauty to enjoy; at only R 5,99 it's a huge bargain so I bought two.
Then, I have been using it for a week now and no dryness, just a lovely perfumes smell and a soft, matte feeling on my skin. Loving it!!
I plan to buy a few more because I was so impressed with the feeling of my skin after using this incredible beauty bar.

I usually do purchase Lux soap bars for daily use for myself and family.
I love that they are creamy and feel a little more luxurious than other bar soaps.
The one I received has a very floral scent that does linger on the skin. I like that the Lux scents smell a little more like perfume that synthetic smells.
I do prefer using shower gels personally and regularly buy the ones by Lux but I have family who still like to use bar soap and so will continue to purchase this.

Upon receiving my package little did I know that opening it was just the first step to experience the gorgeous smell that I will enjoy for a while to come.
I'm pleasantly surprised by how well the soap cleanses my skin, how easy it lathers, how soft it makes my skin feel and the pleasant fragrance that lingers long after a shower or bath. Love, love the design with the flower detail which adds instant luxury. What makes this product more loveable is it's affordability.
I'm taken and will definitely reach out for the product next time I shop ;-)

First, a big thank you to Beauty Bulletin for this great opportunity.
Lux, I've always associated this name brand with Luxury...
I love the fragrance as its delicate and not overpowering at all. (This coming from someone that does not like floral perfumes at all)
The minute I opened the package, my mom, sisters and aunt all commented on the lovely fragrance.
The bar itself is very pretty, the shape makes for easy handling in the bath, and the intricate delicate design attests to the very ladylike nature of women.
The lather is richly scented and I love how it leaves my skin feeling silky when done.
In the past, no matter which soap bar I had tried from this brand, it always left me with tight, dry skin.
It's due to this expectation that I was pleasantly surprised with the moisture content of the bar, and it didn't have me running for the lotion as soon as I was done bathing.
I shared the soaps with my aunt and a close friend so they could give me some feedback as well and they loved these Lux Soft Touch Bars too.
Considering we're all 'shower gel' type people,this was a lovely treat and we would definitely purchase these bars in future especially at this great price.
I look forward to making these a part of my bath time ritual especially since it's a little bit of luxury in an otherwise normal, stressful day.... And who doesn't love a little luxury each day?

The scent of this soap is just great for spring. The delicate floral aroma stayed in my bathroom for at least a week. It smells a lot like roses but you can also discern other floral notes. I love the small floral design on the actual bar - nice little detail for us girls.
The soap washes very well, leaves the skin smelling really good and is not drying. I am not sure how much softer my skin has become because I also regularly use my body lotion but it doesn't make it rough like some soaps do, that's for sure.
The price is very affordable - great for the general public who don't like to splurge on expensive soaps.
My only wish would be that it was more or completely natural as I find myself always leaning towards natural products these days, but I am sure it would also push up its price.
