Loreal elvive extraordinary oil

This for my hair is like liquid gold ,after heat styling i use a tiny amount on my hair and it gives my hair such shine and vitality,more especially i love how soft and smooth my hair feels . i don't find that it weighs my hair down at all, its not greasy either .i have really thick ,frizzy hair so i find this oil to be just perfect for my hair type.

I have tried a lot of different hair oils (Goldwell, Dove, John Frieda, Morroccanoil, Kardashian Hair etc), and this is the only one I haven't enjoyed.

I found that it was too heavy and too thick, and even just using the tiniest bit, left my hair weighed down and heavy, and too coated with product. I needed a good clarifying shampoo just to get it out of my hair.

I think for thicker, drier hair types that this would be a good hair oil, but not for my finer hair.

Hi All, I've tried and tested this hair oil and for me it works wonders, I put it in my hair after blow drying it and it makes my hair so soft and shiny! It works great on my think frizzy curly hair.

My hair loves this oil, I add a little to my hair before my shampoo session with this shampoo line {as recommended} and it makes the shampoo process to easy, my hair feels squeaky clean without being stripped. I also apply a few drops to my hair before and after blowdrying or flat -ironing and it leaves my hair feeling like silk, it's so soft and smooth, no frizz and adds incredible shine and lustre to my hair. My hair soakes up every bit of this product and it feels and looks incredible.

I am a huge fan of Elvive; the products are so luxurious and affordable for such a good quality hair line. That being said, I am also a complete sucker for hair oils and I have tried a few on the market that give pretty good results. So when I learned the one of my favourite hair care brands are releasing one of my favourite hair products, I was super excited and immediately went out to get a bottle. But sadly it did not work for my hair.

Let me just say that I have a mop of very unmanageable hair that I am constantly trying to tame. But recently I decided to just let it be (After all, every Leo needs her fierce mane), and find products that can enhance the mess instead of fix it. But this product just could not deliver for me. I tested it to see when my hair will be at its best when applying (example dry, damp, beforeheat styling, after styling or just once air dried) and all these cases left my with oily tips. I expect this from a hair oil, but I expected to see some form of treatment taking place, but this did not occur. For me it just acted like a serum, which was not what I was looking for.

However, I used the product on my sister in laws' hair and she loved it. Maybe because her hair is so perfect naturally, it doesnt need much to improve its condition, but I should mention she loved it. So if your hair doesn't need alot of TLC I think this product would be ideal for you, otherwise go for something else.

I've been using this for 6 weeks now! It contains oils of lotus, camomile,tiare flower, rose n flax amongst others!the bottle is classy n luxurious! It's amazingly affordable n on my thick hair i need just three pumps! I use it prewash to detangle n soften,whilst blow drying and as a serum to create shine after i flat iron! It's rich without being greasy n doesn't weigh hair down! I even use it as a leave in prior to a dip in the pool! My dry highlighted hair has recovered its softness! You would buy this one again n again!
