Lash Attack Makeup Trend!!!Lashes are back and with vengeance! I know that most of us think of lashes as something done on fashion shoots or only for weddings, theatre and T.V. but girl have I got news for you…  As in the glorious 60’s lashes are becoming somewhat of a fad again and something that everyday people are doing to accentuate their look and persona.

I remember struggling to find different kinds of lashes and now you only have to pop down to your local shopping centre and you are guaranteed to find lashes for every and any mood!!!! Just have a look in your favorite glossy magazine do you realize that 90% of your favorite celeb’s are sporting lashes …perhaps even their own brand… i.e. Paris Hilton, Girls Aloud  and so the list goes on!

Admittedly it takes time to get used to wearing lashes so maybe start out with the more natural ones to get used to them or perhaps the individuals and then build up on that as you go! For the brave makeup lovers I say go for it – the bigger and glitzier the better! Lashes are a great way to stand out in the crowd, especially at those famous year end functions and New Years Parties. So go on and make Mr. Right …Mister RIGHT NOW as there is now NO way he can miss these fluttering advances!!!

Applying the FULL lashes:

1.)    Always fit the lash to the eye from the inside out and trim if need be so that the lash fits the eye shape

2.)    Put glue on the lash and blow lightly to semi dry it

3.)    Use tweezers or your finger to apply the lashes, make sure you pull the skin around the eye area tight first and then place the eyelash with glue onto the lash line (inner to outer eyelid.)

4.)    Use an ear bud to push the false lashes down and help them attach onto the lash line once it has been placed

5.)    Keep eyes close to aid in quick drying and secure placement of the lashes!!!

Applying individuals:

1.)    Same technique just using an individual lash…so put glue on lash at the top and semi dry so its tacky

2.)    Place it where you want to add volume and length and allow it to bond to lash line before removing your hand

3.)    These are slightly trickier as the twist and turn so the main focus is to keep it placed so that it is not pointing sideways down or drastically up!!!

Suggestions:
Feathered, glittered, diamante, polka dot and coloured lashes are perhaps best for the evening and not whilst chilling on Clifton 4^th…

There are so many types of makeup lashes that you can wear during the day just make sure you are not going surfing, cliff jumping or shark cage diving as these are reusable and it would A.) Be sad to lose one and B.) It just isn’t a good look having one missing or sliding off as a result of the adrenaline…
