Kangol Smoke Rings Nail Polish

A beautiful colour but certainly not the smoothest nail polish. I walked around with streaks for a few days but eventually had enough and removed it

I received this colour to review from the lovely Beauty Bulletin Ladies and was a little unsure to start with. I had seen this type of colour a lot on the catwalks and on celebs over the past few months – taupe/mushroom/browny-grey. I thought it looked nice but always but thought it wouldn’t suite me. How wrong was I?

When I first took it out of the packet in my office ( surrounded by two collegues who wanted to see my new trial treasures ) one grabbed it and immediately tried it on, the other commented that it was ‘a yucky grey’ and she wouldn’t ever wear it. Looking back now, I think it is an age thing. The girl who loved it is in her late 20’s and the other is younger – only turned 23 today. The younger one preferred the sunshine pink colour I also got. When I trialed all the products I received at a Sunday brunch my mother loved this product and found the pink way too young for her (but loved it on me ). My mother is going to but the smoke rings colour when she goes shopping this week – she tried to steal mine…

I learnt something from this little bottle….always try new things, cause you don’t know unless you try. If I didn’t need to review this product, I would of passed it onto a friend and missed out of this fab little colour.
