Great product and affordable price. It dries fast and blends well. I even use it as concealer sometimes. Definitely need to get me more!
I can't say it lasts all day though, but it's a very nice makeup base for eye makeup.

Other than the price of this product, I am also really impressed with the high performance!

The formula is really nice, it is not runny nor is it too dry. It applies and spreads quite easily, but it sets quite fast. I am not a fan of the doe foot applicator as it is a breeding ground for bacteria. Your fingers work best for blending out this product.

It cancels out veins / uneven skin tone pretty well, but it does emphasize texture. Really blending your shadows onto the product helps to even out the texture a little bit.

It does make your shadows more pigmented and last longer throughout the day, which is what it claims to do and for these reasons, I am very happy with the results.

All-in-all it is definitely worth a try.

I have never really used a base until I saw this product and decided to try it out.

Its got a sweet short tube/ wand packaging which looks almost like a lip-gloss. The wand makes for easy application but I find myself still using my finger to blend and spread the product evenly.

Once applied it dries quite fast to leave you with a all even base color on which to build your masterpiece. I have to admit when I want to do extreme eye looks I just cant go without this anymore.

I have been eyeing this for a while but i never seemed to find it in store , then one lucky day it was the last on the shelf so I grabbed it with both hands .
What I can say is I am definitely not sorry and will definitely repurchase this item .

This product has made such a difference to my eye make up . My shadows glide on smoothly and last so much longer . There are no creases or smudging . It just gives me such a complete put together look . It seems like it only comes in one color however dont be concerned as this seems to blend easily on any skin tone .

The product is a creamy liquid texture and as a concealer wand type applicator .Give this a shot girls you will love it .

An eyeshadow base is definitely a must have for me. This does the job well for the price. I recommend it to friends and make them buy this.

I was looking for an eyeshadow primer when I came across this one. For such a great price (eye primers can be quite pricey) I thought I'd give it a try.

The packaging is quite cute and the application brush/sponge is easy to use and convenient for applying the product. Unfortunately, it only comes in one tone. It gave my eyelid quite an ashen look. It did blend well and thinned out, providing good coverage.

This product, however, did not work for me. Blending the eyeshadow on top of the base did not work out so well. Even after letting the base 'dry', the eyeshadows were not able to blend well.

I found that after a couple of hours (maybe 3-4 hours) my eyeshadow was pretty much gone. The base had also creased. So sometimes it's better to invest in a more expensive product that will work. I will not purchase again.

You can never complain about the prices when it comes to essence products. I believe you get more than what you pay for. The only reason I gave it 4 for quality and effectiveness is because it doesn't last for the entire day. It does last a few hours though.

Eyeshadow bases and primers can be pretty pricey and steep, so as a cheaper alternative, this eyeshadow base by Essence does a decent job, sadly only coming in one colour, this base is a good choice for heavier eyeshadow applications if you're dark skinned.

I wouldn't say it's an 'all night' product but it definitely works well enough if a bit more for being a drug store brand.

High quality product with an ridiculous price.It makes my eyeshadows go smooth and silky and colors look so much more vibrant than when worn alone. I repurchased it for about ten times.

I don't usually use an eyeshadow base, but decided to give this one a go as it was on sale at Clicks. It's not bad at all. It creates a smooth base for my eyeshadow and my shadow did last a bit longer. I add this product to my routine on special occasions.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little bottle. Very simply packaged (like most lipglosses) with a sponge applicator, the creamy base goes on smoothly and blends easily. I used it on top of my eyelids to cover those little veins shining through before applying my eye shadow, and the coverage was amazing.
I found it equally effective in the nose area for removing the red tinge next to your nostrils.
I apply the base with the applicator and tap it in, until it evens out nicely. I found my eye-shadow stayed on really well with no lines forming in the crease as so often happens in hot weather. I have subsequently used it as a concealer under my foundation and find it really effective - give it a try, you won't be sorry. Best of all, it's really cheap. I would recommend this to everyone.
