Hot makeup trends for Spring/Winter have been sported at Fashion Week. You will love Spring/Summer 2011’s Hot Makeup Trends if you are a fan of colourful shades, bold lips, glitter and electric eyeliner.

COLOURFUL SHADOWS:
Love bright colours? Christian Dior Chose green, blue, red, orange, yellow and pink for his Spring/Summer 2011 fashion show. He paired this with natural looking lashes and cat-like eyeliner. Green, blue, red, orange, yellow and hot pink, whatever your peckish heart desires. Pair with cat eyeliner and natural-looking falsies. Lips where bold and colourful.

Etro Models had a lavender eye, which was framed around the eye in a circle. If you are going to do this look, be sure to blend well and dont forget to get rid of the dark circles under your eyes.  Finish off this look with a brown or orange blush and copper or nude lips.

Narciso Rodriguez created a romantic look. Coral red combined with white as eyeliner matched with rose pink lips looks gentle and appealing.

Betsey Johnson  went for a bold green eye with bold pink cheeks and lips. To get the look apply solid green shadows onto your eyelid and start blending upwards to the brow bone and a bit beyond the brow line. Apply only to the outer half of the lower lid. Add black eyeliner and mascara, pink blush and lipstick.

L.A.M.B. chose multi-shade makeup combining solid yellow and golden. The Look was made bold and sexy by applying eyeliner. The lower line was thicker than the upper one.  The look was Completed with copper blush and sheer pink lip-gloss.

One Can take inspiration from other makeup trends on the Runway this season.  Jason Wu and Derek Lam chose winged eyes in  Metallic shades of green, golden and white silver.

Derek Lam used red shadow on the upper eyelid applying it like thick eyeliner. A white silver was added starting at the bridge going all the way up to the brow.

‘Never match your makeup to your dress’ is another rule to break in Spring/Summer 2011. Mark Fast proved that it can be very sexy and cool.

ELECTRIC EYELINER:
If you prefer eyeliner to shadows then Dennos Basso’s look is perfect for you.  The models wore blue and orange liners in their top lid and the inner corner of the eye was subtly highlighted.

FADED SMOKEY EYES:
The Classic smokey eye is a look that will always be in.  Giorgio Armani took this classic look and chose to do it in a toned down blue.

NATURAL MAKE UP:
Dolce and Gabbana and Lacoste kept it natural. The models had flawless complexions with skin that looked sun kissed.
