This is a new an improved formula from the gold bottle thermal protector. You don't need to worry about buying the correct bottle for the tip of hair you had as with the old formula. This also sprays on easily and doesn't leave your hair greasy. It leaves your fair smelling great and protects it. The stylist at salon did a heat protectant test - where you spray this on your hand and run a blowdryer over one hand with the spray and one hand without and you can fell the difference. As this is a spray it lasts long, you only need to spray two or three pumps on damp hair, so this is good value for money. Would definitely recommend it.
