GHD hair straightener

I dont have one but my friend does. I always go to her to do my hair. I love GHD , it works so fast and you end up with GRATE results.

I've had a GHD for about 5 years until I finally gave it up, however I won't lie, GHD is and always has been a great hair straightener, which can multitask into a curler. Leaving hair styled without a compromise.

For the last few years the GHD Straightener has been my beloved,perfectly set hair everyday of the week, until a few months ago when my sister got married and took HER straightener with...I cried for weeks because i had to tie my hair in a pony, try out new hats and alicebands...:-(

I had my GHD for years now and it still works, yes its faded from black to dark grey already but it still does the job.
My GHD's been thrown in my bag when traveling,its been shared with my sister and mom, its styled my best friend's hair on her wedding day,gosh,it 'mohawked' my bf hair when he was styling it that way hehehe.
No other styler has ever lasted as long as my GHD , its really top quality

My friend went out and bought this straightener as soon as it came out and to be honest,i couldnt wait to go visit her so that i could use this amazing straightener lol! My first ever experience with GHD was when i went to a very fancy salon to get my hair done and i was blown away(excuse the pun lol), it was the first time i had ever straightened my hair and i was absolutely thrilled with how it came out! Ever since then i have ALWAYS dreamed of having my very own GHD but unfortunately i havnt been able to afford one as i am just a student. I have tried the cheaper brands but NOTHING, and i mean NOTHING, comes close to the pin-straight, glossy, healthy looking and shiny affect the GHD straightener has on my hair, not to mention how it makes my hair straight in just seconds! I often find myself looking through the different themed straighteners and choosing which one i like best, i really love that there is a straightener for every style and every taste. The bags and accessories that come with a GHD make the deal that much sweeter and i really really really would LOVE the opportunity to call any GHD my own one day

I have this exact model with the matching blow-dryer, never lets me down, have had it for about 3 years. What I really love about it is that it automatically switches off if it has been on too long and makes a beeping noise to remind you, brilliant!

Overall a great hair straightening/curling tool but it is not the best out there. I use the GHD IV styler (pink one) and after a year it wouldn't work. I took it in for repairs and was told that the pink and purple have their filament placed differently than in the regular black styler and it one places it down too hard, it can break. This breaking of the filament happened at a clients home just before doing her hair! luckily i keep a spare flat iron on hand. If you're looking for a middle to top range flat iron, then the GHD is for you. If not, and you have some extra cash, get yourself a Cloud 9 (retails for +- R2500)

Got it for 3 years and it's never let me down!
