Brows have slowly creeped into my daily glam alongside mascara and some lippie.

I'm usually on the go and barely have free days but this product has never failed me. My brows look sleek and lasts all day and comes with a handy brush on the cap of the pencil.

I've tried many brow products but by far this is the most inexpensive and reliable product I always find myself coming back to.


There isnt a variety of colours though - but overall its a thumbs up from me!

This has easily been my favorite go-to eyebrow pencil for the past 4 years. It’s very inexpensive and it lasts literally the whole day. I’ve had friends who’d say it doesn’t last or anything but I myself have never experienced that and I’ve been using it for any years now. The brush on the cap is really convenient. Funny, people always ask me if I use a brow pomade and are always shocked when I tell them it’s the Essence Eyebrow Designer Pencil.

The only complain I have is I wish the shade dark brown was a little darker as it sometimes looks a little ashy against the brow hairs.

This is my 1 everyday go-to product. I can go a day or two or even a 5 day week without foundation, mascara or any blush - but Essence Eyebrow Designer is a everyday MUST for me. My eyebrows were microbladed about 2 years ago, and sure the lady did a great job but for that defined yet natural look I still fill my brows on a daily basis and this has been my go-to for the past 2-3 years. Its non-greasy, long lasting and super pocket friendly!

This eyebrow designer is such a great product. The only downside is that you have to sharpen it regularly. But other than that, it does help to create a natural brow look. The shade range is good - I use the dark brown one as black would be too harsh. I also love the brush on the lid - so convinient. The price makes it a total steal!

I enjoy this product, I like that it has a brush on the cap so that I can brush up and shape my brows easily before using the brow pencil, and I find that it is easy to use and is not difficult to make look natural. All in all, its a good brow pencil that doesn't move around and works well.

I'm all about brow these days! It seems as though we've all been neglecting them and now we can finally embrace all the shapes and sizes they come in. I found this gem at Dischem Pharmacies by chance and I had to have it, I purchased the Essence Eyebrow Pencil in 02 and it happened to be the perfect shade for my brows.

I asually use brow palette from Essence which is great but its difficult to use when I'm on the go as it takes time to apply, so when they released this Eyebrow Pencil with the brush it made it easier to maintain my brows when I'm out with friends or having a long day at work and my brows need a touch-up!

It's super affordable and easy to use! Another reason why I love Essence Cosmetics! Always making my make-up routine effortless!

Oh my gosh, I live for this stuff! I have very bushy eyebrows and so to get that great Instagram eyebrow effect i have to use both the dip brow and eyebrow pencil, mostly the eyebrow pencil. This one is my favorite. I use it on all my clients and myself. It glides on so smoothly and is highly pigmented. The price is close to nothing. The brush though, it comes in handy all the type. I use the brush on the cap instead of a spooly and i actually find that it works better. This product is one of my secret weapons - those products people don't expect to work but work amazingly.

This is great and affordable product. My love for Essence is endless and I love working with this brow pencil, it's great that it has a spoolie as well! My only problem is that the 02 brown pencil that I purchased has a red tint to the brown, which I don't like because it doesn't match my blonde hair at all. I got their eyebrow stylist set instead, the lighter one, and that matches my hair perfectly. Still a great product that gives a structured look to your brows, maybe I'll just go pick up a different shade!

This eyebrow pencil is my holy grail make-up item. I have it in the shade 002- Brown. My eyebrows are black,but i don't like using a dark black eyebrow pencil. It's just too dark for me. That's why I love this dark brown shade,suits me perfectly.

For its price,its a very good eyebrow pencil. On the lid of the pencil there's a handy little brush that I use to brush my eyebrows in place before filling in with pencil. It's very easy to wipe off, and it stays in place the whole day. I like to seal mine in with some wax just to make sure it doesn't go off.(I like to wipe off my eyebrows sometimes,lol. I forget mine is filled in.)

I simply can't live without it! I would recommend this product to anyone, because this shade(002-brown) suits every skin colour.

As a redhead with almost translucent eyebrows, this product is great. It fills in my brows perfectly without looking too overdone. It is quite soft but sometimes leaves a bit of a crumbly texture if you don't brush it through your brows. Not super long lasting but it will last all day. For the price, I think it's definitely worth it. It's easy to use so definitely a must for beginners who are just starting with makeup.

I love Essence, and for many women, I know this product is a winner. Unfortunately, I just didn't take to it. I found the pencil to be too soft, lending itself to heavy-handed strokes that look dark and unnatural. There is not a variety of shades in this product, and given the medium to dark colour of my hair, there is no shade in this pencil suited to me. I'd recommend this product to someone else, but I find the Catrice Eyebrow Stylist to be a much better brow pencil.

As someone with a medium skin tone and very light eyebrows, the Essence Eyebrow Designer is perfect for me. It is long-lasting and the brush allows for perfect blending. At only R28.95 it is affordable and effective.

An eyebrow pencil that does exactly what it is supposed to. I like to splurge on skincare and foundation products, but not on products like this. This is why this affordable eyebrow pencil is the perfect product for me! I am fair with ash blonde/brown eyebrows and the blonde shade is perfect! Not too warm at all! The colour is great, the texture of the pencil is soft but still firm and it lasts very long. What more do you want/need in an eyebrow pencil?

I love this brow pencil. I am fair and the lightest colour didn't make me look totally ridiculous. It blended nicely and I love the little brush on the lid that helps you to blend everything. Definitely repurchasing this and it's so affordable too!
