Totally love the mascara as it enhances my lashes without making them dramatic. Perfect for everyday use. The brush is small enough to work from the root of the lashes. I use it for going to work as it gives me the minimalist look.

Well I have to admit I think i have bought and tried just about every single mascara Essence brought out so far and I have yet to find one that I don't like! Its just amazing how one Beauty name can manage to just keep the good stuff coming and another just kind of get there with one or maybe two of theirs. I don't know who is the Scientist behind all the Essence products but I sure as light want to go and shake his/her hand personally!
That said to me the most important part when I look for mascara is the brush. I've got VERY long eyelashes but it lacks in volume so the brush make all the difference. I have found that the silicone brushes separates the lashes the best and clumps the least. And just about all of theirs are made of just that.
The Multi Action got a thin silicone brush and the mascara itself says on and does not smudge through the day. I have found with all the other Essence mascaras even if you accidentally rub over them, your liner may smudge but the mascara stay put and that in my books is a big YES.
I do think that if Volume is the thing you after then some of the other Essense mascaras might do better.

I usually love Essence mascaras - I have yet to try one that doesn't work for me!
They're such fab, budget-friendly options, and they really do a great job, sometimes better than the higher end ones.
This one is no exception, and really does a wonderful job at lengthening, volumising and darkening my lashes.

I really like this mascara. The wand shape and size is perfect for me as I like to do my lower lashes too. The formula does not cause any clumping and it is not as wet as some of their other mascaras. It darkens and lengthens my eyelashes perfectly for the price that I paid for it.

Essence has an amazing variety of mascaras at very affordable prices. I previously used the volumising mascara and the curl mascara. These mascaras were great but I wanted a mascara with a smaller wand so it could get to my lower lashes and my smaller lashes.
The wand on this mascara is great. It's small and gets to every lash. It does not make the lashes stick together and coats them individually, creating longer, thicker and defined lashes. Sometimes, I use another mascara over it just to make my lashes seem longer and more voluminous.
However, it is quite drying. After a couple of hours, the mascara is quite dry and sort of 'flakes' off. Other than this, it's a good mascara for the price and it is great for lower lashes.

The Multi-Action mascara formula is nice and it is thicker which was great for me because I really don't like very wet mascaras.
It leaves absolutely no clumps and because of the design, you can coat your lashes from the roots, your lashes dont stick together as it coats them individually, It lengthens and gives an awesome definition to your lashes with a more natural effect .
I use the mascara all the time, its amazing.

In my opionion not the best mascara I think that the lash princess mascaras from Essence is way better - this one just doesn't give me the volumising lashes I am after
