Between my Husband and youngest son they both tend to have sensitive skin (Hubby however has eczema which when he stresses can become severe and he scratches) and this is the only cream I have found to be gentle enough to use daily without causing any side effects. I think because of the formula (hypo-allergenic, perfume-free, dermatologically tested and free from artificial colourants) it has become a staple in our home for both my Husband and our youngest and thankfully we have had NO eczema flare ups.
I knew about this when I took my daughter to the dermatologist because her skin had some nasty rash. So the doctor prescribed us this along with other creams, turns out she has eczema. Ever since we started using it her skin has improved even the cheeks , the patches on the cheeks cause by the cold weather have gone. Now I know what a moisturiser is. The dermatologist told me to also use the cream on my skin. And I have been using as a night cream, I tell you it has made a huge difference, when I wake in the morning I can feel the difference in the texture of my skin and supple it is.
The cream is not scented, looks like a regular aqueous cream, I like the texture of it too. Creamy and you can tell it has water in it. You feel the moisture as soon as it touches your skin. Great product for dry skin and to use in winter.
I actually bought the EPI MAX all purpose moisturizer because my 3 year old son's legs were quite dry and normal aqueous cream wasn't helping much. He kept scratching his legs which made it worse. I couldn't believe the results after using it for a week. My teenage daughter was so impressed she started using it as a daily moisturizer. She has extremely sensitive skin which also tend to get dry from time to time. It worked for her skin, within a couple of days she could see a difference. In winter the area around my mouth gets quite dry and my normal day cream doesn't seem to hydrate my skin so I gave EPI Max a shot and now I'm totally hooked. Its the only moisturizer I'm using at the moment. It's a definite winter must have!!!!!
I've been using this moisturiser for quite some time because I suffer from eczema on my arms. It is very moisturising and actually helped a lot with my eczema. I love how it is so rich and moisturising, however it doesn't leave that greasy feeling on skin. I find it to be the most affordable moisturiser for extremely dry or irritated skin. Plus it is fragance free so it definitely doesn't irritate skin anymore than it could possibly be.
Epimax plus is widely recommended by dermatologists for dry, scaly skin conditions including eczema!my son is so atopic he reacts even to the labels in his clothing and the soap powder used to wash his clothes so this became a staple in the house! It contains cetamacrogol and glycerine as well as urea so it performs the function of a keratolytic( sloughing agent) whilst moisturising deeply! Considering the price of other dermatologically suitable products this is dirt cheap and works very effectively on skins all ages !
A BRILLIANT product, which my Pediatrician recommended for both my babies when they were infants for the eczema. It was a incredibly cheap alternative to eczema lotions and much gentler on their very sensitive skin. Both my lassies have sensitive skins and get rashes from grass, sun exposure and certain fragrance body lotions. Their fragrance free range I couldn't live without!
Its great for adults too for those winter heels and elbows.
this product works great. My daughter had developed a skin rash due to the sun. Its hard to keep a 4 year indoors or with a hat on all the time. I tried this and it completely removed the rash. My hubby now also uses this as for he has very sensitive skin. altogether a great product indeed!
Friends if you have dry skin, you will know that no matter how often you apply cream, at the end of the day you've still got dry skin! Most creams just sit on your skin and don't really get absorbed. I have suffered with dry skin all my life. Not anymore... Epi-Max is dermatologist approved and really works. I have never used another cream in the middle of winter and felt my skin to be super soft and nourished. It lasts for the day, absorbs into your skin and you won't look ashy and grey anymore. It can be used for your face as well. (I've got my boss hooked on it - he says it helps after shaving and he doesn't get dry skin anymore.) You will notice the difference in a few days! Your skin will be supple, soft and feel nourished from the inside.
Quick Tip: Apply your body moisturiser as soon as you get out of the shower. Don't dry your body too much, just dab lightly with your towel. This helps with better absorption.
