A naturally exfoliating cream - that smells like roasted almonds - to use morning and evening on a clean face and neck. It looks & feels like a scrub but is not meant to be rubbed on the face. Dr. Hauschka doesn’t believe in scrubs! How is it used then? By the press and roll cleansing method. When I started to use this cleanser, I had combination type skin, was prone to breakouts and had large pores. Over the next year, my skin settled down to a more normal skin type with far less breakouts and best of all my pores are tiny. It really is a great product but key to its effectiveness is how you use it. I strongly recommend going to see a Dr Hauschka therapist who can demonstrate how to use it properly before purchasing. Its quite different to most other cleansers and the entire Dr Hauschka system is a bit of a mind set change. However, as someone who has always been obsessed with skincare, it is the first product range I tried and have remained devoted to (its been 4 years now).

I have been using this cleanser for 2 years now, I have a combination skin with oily T-zone that often get real cranky on the chin. after a month of using this cleansing cream and the Melissa cream I saw a distinct difference. My skin is happier and I am happy. Definitely worth giving a try.

If you want a product that cleanses without drying but actually leaves your skin ‘moisturised’. This is it. I don't feel the need to use a moisturiser afterwards but that’s not good advice, I usually follow with Have a Vine day cream or reNu face balm at night. Personally, Dr.Hauschka’s cleansing cream has produced without question the best results for my skin. Ever. I totally recommend to anyone with blemish prone and congested 35+ skin! Yes, it is expensive ( R262 ) but I am having such good results that I believe it is worth every cent considering my skin is much healthier after 3 weeks of use! Gentle, natural and effective. I switched to this range from another commercially available brand (have tried them all - Lancome, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Clarins) and within 2 weeks saw my pores halve in size and the texture of my skin improve radically. Fantastic product range!
