Despite his entertaining style, Dr. Robert Rey is, first and foremost, a plastic surgeon. Dr. Rey has attended some of the top American educational institutions, from UCLA School of Medicine, to Tufts University School of Medicine, to Harvard University, to Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital where he completed a plastic surgery fellowship. He honed his skills, as well, as a research assistant in some of the most prestigious hospitals; Johns Hopkins, USC-LA County and the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Rey also earned a Master’s degree in Health Policy from the Harvard University John F. Kennedy School of Government, and served in The Office of the United States Surgeon General, as health policy speech writer to Dr. C. Everett Koop.
