I was lucky as I never had to deal with acne as a teen. My luck ran out as I hit my mid 30s :(
I got those annoying and painful cysts and it was unexplainable. It became a nightmare!

My skin is Fitzpatrick 4 so it hyperpigments easily.
Benzoyl peroxide is not good for darker skin types. It created dark and dry spots on my face. My skin became really sensitive and products that did wonders for me before caused more harm.

In desperation I researched alternate methods for treating acne and stumbled upon light therapy. It is backed by science and was even written up by NASA. I decided I had nothing to lose and purchased a ClearRayz device by Baby Quasar.

I did a demo on Facebook live and you can see that my skin has improved :) Please click on facebook story under references for the actual video.
(Opinions are my own and I am not sponsored by Baby Quasar)

Would you consider light therapy as part of your skin care regime?

Light therapy is quite widely available in aesthetic clinics too, commonly know as LED. And yes it definitely works.

I've see adverts for Bioptron but does it have the different colour lights for different types ailments?

I will definitely be trying this. I am 21 and still suffering from breakouts... It's extremely frustrating and I have honestly tried EVERYTHING!
