I was lucky enough to receive a sample from the Clinique Event which I attended in Durban. The colour which I was given is a single shade from the strawberry fudge duo. It happens to be one of the best colours, because even though its a pink shimmer colour, it dazzles in the light and catches the light. The shimmer turns into a multicoloured eye shadow which attracts colours of pink, gold, shimmer silver and a slight blue under tone which can be seen in the sunlight. The eye shadow surprisingly lasts long on eyelids without any primer or eyeshadow base. The colour can last up to eight hours, giving vibrant, intense and mesmerizing colour. There's no fading and no creasing, just amazing eye colour all day long!

I love creating a dramatic bold eye and the Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Trio is perfect to do just that. My colour of choice is "Come Heather" which is a trio of purples. I wasn't so sure at first about the colour purple but the effect looks fantastic and not Dynasty circa 1985.
