The texture of this sponge feels rough while it is dry, so it is important to soak it in some warm water before using it - especially when you’re using it for the first time. I have sensitive skin that gets red easily, so I don’t use this sponge every day. I usually use it only 2-3 times of the week with a cleanser to exfoliate and deep cleanse my skin.
You can re-use this sponge a couple of times before you need to dispose it. If you’re using it 2-3 times a week like I am, you can use it for 1-2 months, depending on your own preferences. I especially like using this sponge after a night out, when I’ve applied quite heavy makeup and want to ensure that all traces of makeup is removed. It works very well in cleansing the skin, and leaves skin feeling soft and dewy.
