Review 1: Frizz Ease

Review 1: Frizz Ease

Hello & Happy weekend to all my Beauty Bulletin Followers! I've been using my John Frieda Frizz Ease products since they arrived two weeks ago so I thought I'd update you guys and tell you a little more about them.

I don't have particularly unruly hair but I suppose we all have that little bit of frizz that requires some taming every now and again. Especially living in the Cape Town winter, a beautifully sleek style can be hard to achieve when the climate it doing everything to thwart your efforts. The straight ahead range is aimed at creating straight hairstyles and I for one am always straightening my hair with a flat iron so any assistance in that respect will be appreciated. I used the shampoo and conditioner together to experience the full effect. First off let me say that the shampoo and quite concentrated and effective, and I would recommend using less than usual to avoid weighing your hair down. I made that mistake a few times in the beginning and using too much can result in your hair being a little oily. Once I got the quantities right and applying conditoner only to my ends, I felt the smooth effect the products had on my hair and it was definitely easier to style. I also like the product promises straightness for a few days and hold the sleek style until your next wash.

This product is looooovely! I use it once a week to revive my hair and treat myself and the results are visible immediately. The masque is luxurious and results in my hair being super soft and ultra shiny which I really love. Since its an intensive hair masque, you don't need to lather your whole head to see the effects. I apply from the earlobes down and leave in for about 3 minutes to maximum results. I'd recommend using this once a week in place of the regular condition to give your hair an instant boost.

100% Brilliance. 100% Shine. This is the logo on the front of this little package of goodness. I use this glossing mist as the last step in my haircare routine before heading out the door. To avoid spraying on too much, hold the bottle about 20cm for your head and spray lightly onto the mid lengths and down. It provides instant smoothness and beautiful shine. Don't spray this glossing mist on your roots for as much as we all love shiny healthy hair, the product is quite potent and could reduce the attractive volume at the crown.

That's it for today! Have you used the John Frieda Frizz Ease range before?

I'd love to hear your opinions :)
