Golden Grecian Goddess - African style

Golden Grecian Goddess - African style

This look is one of my favourites that I've tried...the Grecian Goddess look using the  Revlon PhotoReady™ Primer, Shadow + Sparkle in Rustic. This palette is very beginner friendly because it shows you where the colours go on the crease, brow bone and lid. But to keep it simple here's how I did it:

  1. I always do my eyes before by base, it gives a tidier result at the end.
  2. Apply a primer on the lid to make colours go on smoother, last longer and the colour stronger. I use the primer pen from LA Girl in white (Available at Dischem, grab it online for only R35) Alternatively use your concealer.
  3. Apply a matte transition shade in the middle of the lid above your crease, try a soft brown/tan/nude close to your skin tone
  4. Deepen the outer corners of the eyes with a matte smoky grey or black, apply sparingly for just a hint of smokiness.
  5. Take a fine detail brush (small with pointed bristles) and spray with water, this intensifies colour. Dip it in the gold and tap off excess shadow. In a tapping motion build up the colour from your tear duct to the middle of the lower crease
  6. Use the same technique to add the glitter gold shadow in the inner corners of your eyes as a highlight. I then applied the primer shade, a matte nude colour just under my eyebrow as a highlight as well.
  7. Next apply your gel liner, mascara and lashes then Voila!! Your slaying
