February 2016 - Insider of the Month

Our Insider of the Month for February 2016 is the beautiful Amanda Ramguthee (AKA Amanda1). Amanda is extremely new to the BB community, but she has quickly taken over, become part of the community and has made her mark as a BB reviewer.

Like most of us, we were not shocked to find out the Amanda is social media junkie but here is what else we learnt about her:

1. What do you do when you are not on BB?

I am a Marketing administrator, Law student (Part-time), Wife, Mom and when I'm not doing all of that, I'm on social media…A little bit of an addict.

2. When did you join BB?

I joined Beauty Bulletin December last year (2015).

3. What attracted you to joining the community?

I stumbled upon the site while looking for a review on a product I was on the fence about and needless to say I instantly signed up. I love that there are REAL every day woman with everyday jobs (some not in the beauty industry), who share their HONEST views on products and great tips on every day beauty issues and trends. As well as how warm and welcoming the online community is, it's really just like a sisterhood. I look forward to it every day.

4. What are your three 'Holy Grail' products that you just can't live without?

I try not to be brand specific because I love trying different brands all the time, but I cannot live without: Waterproof Mascara Red Lipstick Pressed Powder

5. What's the best beauty tip you ever learned?

If you want your face to look relatively in tone with the rest of your body (and not look mismatched), Match your foundation to the skin on your chest! Not your wrists, neck or jaw line. Dark skinned girl especially, suffer with a lot of hyper pigmentation so matching a foundation to your chest is a great way of ensuring that you look natural and even toned.

6. What does beauty mean to you?

To me beauty had nothing to do with physical appearance. You can use the most expensive clothes in the world and contour like a Kardashian but it all means nothing if you are not comfortable in your own skin. True beauty is when a person/woman is accepts herself for who she is, with all her flaws knowing no one is perfect. She is confident in her abilities. Knows her worth, Inspires others and most of all LOVES HER SELF!
