I had to be excited at the prospect of longer lashes and added
definition to my eyes. Naturally my eyebrows are very light and thin
so I rely fully on my lashes and eye makeup to create that defined
look to bring out not only my eyes but also the rest of my facial
features.
I’ve gradually taken on the more natural look and first to be booted
out in my beauty routine was foundation then penciled brows. Naturally
I’m left with my eyes and lips and those have now become the main
areas left for me to focus on enhancing. I simply had to indulge
myself and try out the Avon Super Extend Mascara and Liquid liner.
Avon Super Extend Mascara
I was concerned at first about the plastic bristle, I preferred the
brush applicator as it was more gentle on the eyelid. But I managed to
score a few tricks on how to properly apply the mascara and within a
few strokes could manage applying it without any discomfort to the
eyelid. The pointed tip makes for perfect application the first time,
I found that with previous mascaras I’ve used, the even bristles left
smudges on my upper eyelids that were a hassle to clean off.
The effect that this mascara has on my eyes is simply amazing. It
checked all the boxes for in what I need from a mascara. Clump free,
non-irritating, easy to remove and the absolute best – it lengthens my
naturally uneventful lashes and makes them naturally thicker and
longer.
Avon Super Extend Liquid Liner
What stood out the most with the liquid eyeliner was that the tip was
always moist. I’ve had the most unpleasant experiences before
where I’d have to fan the pen downwards continuously to bring the
product to the tip. This ensures that my lines and wings are perfect
the first stroke. Bliss.
Also its bold color is uniquely long lasting too. I was impressed with
the irritant free technology of the product, when layering it for my
smoky eye look, some of the product will end up inside my eye and
they’d be not slight irritation on my eyes.
Great products overall, and even greater combination. The price adds
to the fun factor too. Definitely a keeper duo.

The Avon Super Extend Mascara promises to lengthen lashes, and it really does! Totally love the simple black plastic tube packaging, so easy to store in any handbag. The design of the cap (tapered edge) makes it really easy and comforatable to grip and apply. once applied, it looks like you got lash extensions - Defines the lashes very well and doesn;t weigh them down (like some brands do). Its a really good product and very reasonably priced too.

This is not a bad mascara, it does a great job of lengthening and seperating lashes and is definitely smudge proof. I found that I had trouble with flaking though. I didnt notice that my eye colour was enhanced either, but since my eye colour is a bit wishy washy blue, I cant really blame the mascara for not making my eyes "pop"!

This was the first mascara that i purchased from Avon for R49.95 (On special) I love the fact that it extended my lashes and thickened them up quite nicely with a few coats, but what i don't like is that during the day it started to flake and when i tried to wipe it off it smudged. The worst part is when i tried to remove it with my eye make up cleaner it was like glue, i had such a hard time removing it (and lost a few of my eyelashes in the process) i gave it away. I love voluminous lashes, but it must feel comfortable and soft to the touch, or at least flexible, and i did not achieve this with Avon super extend.
