Even though this is not a shampoo, the Aunt Jackie's Flaxseed Purify Me Moisturizing Co-Wash Cleanser does an impressive job at cleaning my scalp and hair. It is even better than some shampoos that I have tried.
When I use this moisturising co-wash, I know that my hair is not being stripped off it's natural oils. If anything, this cleanser helps to put back some of the moisture as it cleans up.
I particularly like that it contains apple cider vinegar (ACV) because it cuts out an extra step in my regimen and I don't end up with that vinegar smell lol. This saves me time and money.
Some benefits of using ACV on your hair:
- It clarifies the scalp. Gets rid of build up.
- Helps to close the hair cuticle. This promotes shine.
- Helps to balances the hair's PH.
- Has anti-bacteria properties
My scalp is clean. My hair is clean and left with no gunk from all the products that I chucked on. My hair feels soft and it easier to detangle.
I also like that it does not lather much, that's a big plus for me.
It's a great buy and the price makes it better. It does what it promises to do.
