This product has been a staple of mine for absolute years and never fails to disappoint me. Its so easy to use and works so quickly. I usually leave the hot water tap running in this in the shower for about 2 mins, then apply to my hair whilst I'm in the shower.
I then comb through quickly and then shampoo as per normal. Once I'm done blow drying and flat ironing my hair has a definite gloss and is so healthy looking. It doesn't leave hair oily at all just adds lots of moisture and softness which is needed during winter.
This retails for under R50 at Clicks or drugstores.
I totally agree with Janis!! This is a real beauty staple and the best thing for dry damaged hair or even just if you have some dry ends that need a bit of extra moisture. Its so great to find a product that is affordable and works well, so you can look after your hair even if your budget is more shoestring then splurgeful!
Nothing beats good old hot oil treatment for hair. It's simply amazing. It's leaves hair soft and silky and manageable. It's perfect for the dry time of the year or summer when hair is exposed too much in the sun. This product makes hair feel shiny and soft and well nourished.
just love these hot oils! iv been using them since i was a teenager and they stay the best for repairing hair and a once a week cheapy treatment. i even started rubbing a bit into wet hair before blow drying and it works great!!! they stay good quality even over all the years
I've used this product on and off for years. I have curly hair ,not the nice curls but rather the ones that fizz but only from my ears down the top portion is straight. When my hair first dries the curls look niceish ( is that a word? 0 and then starts fizzing as it dries. Now before I get 100's a messages saying I should try X product, I've tried them all. So I either blow dry and straighten my hair or tie it up. So as you can imagine my hair gets pretty dry and brittle. So in winter I take special care of my hair. I buy a 4 pack of the deep nouriching ones and they do help. They used to be perfect when I was younger as I used to swim alot and it takes the clorine out of your hair - it really does. I recently went to Thailand and while I was there I used coconut oil on my hair ( recommened at a spa there ) and this works really well but can make your hair a little greasier so I use this maybe once a month and then the VO5 oil once a week.
Being so budget friendly ,I used this a lot during my school days. Having frizzy hair I'm always on the look out for treatments that can soften and tame my unruly hair and this use to do the job for me back then. I still use it every now and then but with so many other products available its hard to stick to one.
