I really do wish this product was cheaper, but I am willing to pay the price for this now that I have tried it. My face is really dry especially during winter. Not only is it dry, but it is super sensitive so I am very reluctant to give harsh products a try.
I came across this miracle tub while browsing through RedSquare's online store. I decided that I needed a good quality face moisturiser with gentle properties. What a bargain with this one though, It is a gentle moisturiser and hydrator with a built in SPF 15!
So I purchased the tub at R440 and tried it the next morning. The cream has a distinct scent. It is not overpowering and infact you can hardly smell anything. I love that about day creams. I often feel that creams with a scent are more harmful to you and dry out your skin more.
It is a pretty thick consistency but so luxurious to smooth over your skin. It also doesnt take a long time to fully absorb into your skin and even though it is moisturizing, it does not leave my skin feeling greasy. I did however notice that the skin on my forehead did start to flake after a while and I got a bit worried there.
The next morning I tried the cream again and no flakiness! In fact my face didn't even feel dry at all. It has repaired my dry skin and I am forever grateful!
So here's the secret to this miracle tub with help from the EA website:
- It has botanical extracts (Soy Extract and Red Clover Extract) which help to support our very own collagen to strengthen, firm and tighten our skin.
- It also has Narcissus Tazetta Bulb Extract which is a natural ingredient. This supports our own skin’s metabolism rate to help fight the effects caused by stress. The skin is immediately left more radiant and pores look minimized. Over time, it helps fight signs of premature ageing.

If you have dry skin, then you really should give this a try. My skin looks far more radiant than before because it has stripped away the dead dry flakes and left my skin more supple and refreshed. But like I said, don't freak out when after the first use you see some dry flakes appear, because then you know the product is actually working for you.
