I absolutely love oil cleansers - they really agree with my dry skin, which feels tight and itchy after using foam or gel cleansers. I like to double-cleanse, using an oil first to remove makeup and a gentle soap-free cleanser to get rid of excess impurities.
Vichy Pureté Thermale Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil is perfect for double-cleansing. It effectively removes even waterproof makeup. I apply three pumps to my dry face, rub it in and add a little water. It forms a milky foam that feels quite luxurious and nourishing on the skin. After it is rinsed off, my skin feels so refreshed and clean. The non-greasy oil leaves no residue and the fragrance is fresh and invigorating.
I highly recommend this cleanser, even for those with oily skins. Oil cleansers do not strip the lipid layer while removing impurities, so they're surprisingly suitable for all skin types.
