With Valentine’s Day upon us ladies I decided to do a post that would help us all find not only the perfect outfit choice for the special day but of course, the perfect makeup look to pair it with. Whether you are stuck at your work desk, having a picnic date, a sexy night out with your significant other or simply enjoying a night out with the girls, these looks are for you!

1) Valentine’s Day – Work Outfit

Even though you have to be at work during the day, get into the loving spirit of Valentine’s Day by incorporating splashes of red within your outfit. Pair this look with a light application of make-up such as a muted, nude lip and x2 coats of mascara (keep the mascara applicationn light for work or day time and a heavier application for night time). This make-up look will enhance your natural beauty and will allow your strong outfit choice to shine through.
    
2)Valentine’s Day – Picnic Date

On a picnic date you want your make-up look to remain as au natural as you possibly can. Work in a piece of floral clothing into your outfit as this will not only compliment the environment of the date but you will also be totally on trend with floral prints. This outfit choice works beautifully with a very feminine and soft make-up palette. Choose corals and peach coloured lipsticks and blushes to highlight the femininity of this look.

3)Valentine’s Day – Girls Night

This strong, sexy look is perfect for a night out on the town with your girlfriends. Grab attention with this structured yet feminine blazer and sky-high sexy ankle boots. Your single days may be over after being spotted in this look! Rock this look with a dark, smokey eye, heavy eye lashes and a nude lip. By wearing a nude lipstick colour you are allowing your smokey eye make-up to shine through as the main feature of your make-up look. It is always best to wear a nude, muted lipstick colour when wearing dark, smokey eye make-up as this will provide the correct contrast and lead to your eyes being emphasized. Wearing heavy dark make-up on the lips and eyes at the same time will clash and leave you in the ranks of beauty faux pas rather than beauty très chic!  

4)Valentine’s Day – Sexy Date Night

This look has the perfect balance of sexiness, flirtiness and playfulness. The plunging neckline and peek-a-boo lace detailing makes this dress a top choice for a sexy date night! For a date night look you can get away with a heavier lip colour such as a deep berry colour (stain it on to keep the look lighter) combined with nude eye make-up, heavy eyelashes and glowing cheeks. A nude smokey eye will pair well as the drama of wearing a smokey eye will not overpower or compete with the lipstick colour as your eye make-up will be done in nude tones.
