Saturday was a blissfull day to wake up to some magnificent sunshine, don a pair of my Havaainas and Raybans and strut off to my home away from home and my heaven in this crazy town, DANTE Wellness spa. A place that is soothing for your senses, vibrant for your body and sacred for your soul.
I was not only greeted with the usual smiles but while I was waiting for Teresa,(my beauty G-d Mother) I got a nice iced cold glass of water with fresh oranges and mint in it. Perhaps this Was Because I had priar appointments and was running around like a mad woman and by the time I arrived I looked like a 24 year old going through an early menopause, having a bit of a hot flush.
I was so excited to my have my twinkle toes MINXed! The newest trend in nail art.
So what exactly is this MINX that everyone is talking about…..Pop culture Queen Beyonce put them on the map back in 2007 and it seems like Minx Nails are still going strong for 2010.The latest alternative to nail polish, Minx Nail is made of flexible film strips that are applied with heat and pressure. While having my toes MINXED in reflective silver, as always I had a grand conversation with Teresa and managed to sit back and relax! A luxury to me these days. But one cannot help but feel peaceful in Dante.

Minx also eliminates the multiple steps involved in a manicure. The single coat is applied to a customer, and voilà! Perfect nails without the multiple steps of a base coat, two color coats, and a final top coat.
My favourite part of this new world that is MINX…..
It doesn’t smudge or chip !It is hard to believe, but immediately after applying Minx I was able to slip my feet into my Havaainas without the anxiety of being scared that I would smudge them. I am usually back in as soon as i get to my car becaused i have smudged! But this time i walked straight out, got into my car and went to have lunch at a Restaurant where one sits and walks in the sand!
And Shizaam…. Still perfectly shiny, no chips, no smudges! My new obsession has begun!
I cant help but to feel extremely happy every time i look down at my toes!
