Killer Queen Katy Perry
When I received a message from KellyA that I had been nominated as one of the Royal Queens in being a part of the first ever royal review club I was ecstatic. I couldn’t wait to see what the actual package was and try it.
The nose of the composition is Katy Perry. Killer Queen is a sophisticated and elegant fragrance of warm feminine notes and has a smooth, lustrous fragrance with a fruity undertone. It’s not heavy, too sweet or overwhelming which I really like. However I wish that the floral notes were a bit stronger and lasted longer.
Top notes of the Killer Queen perfectly balance the warmth and strength with its aromas or bergamot, wild berries and sensual dark plum. The beautiful and gourmand fragrance from Katy Perry’s Killer Queen opens the heart with sweetly floral orchid flowers and has an intoxicating scent. The red velvet is smooth and lustrous and offers a languid and sensuality, while the natural jasmine and rainbow plumeria lend an edible tonality. Richness develops overtime, enveloping the wearer in nature’s finest aromatic tropical scents. Overall a strong offering for Spring and Summer months.
The packaging of Killer Queen is striking! The perfume is dressed in sophisticated colours of red and gold. The red diamond shaped bottle looks holographic. The lid has been shaped into a crown with two cats and hearts engraved at the top. Katy Perry has been boldly engraved around the neck of the bottle. The writing is in a lovely gold text which doesn’t distract you away from the main detail which is the actual bottle itself; overall I think it’s perfect.
