The Stila Masterpiece Series - Eye and Cheek Palette was introduced to South Africa last year. I remember purchasing mine from Foschini for R399. The Masterpiece series contains three volumes of "books" which create different looks. The entire collection contains 15 eye shadows (5 per palette) and three blushers (1 per palette). I would say only if you're a major fan of eye shadow or eye make up then purchase the palette, else you'll be sitting with these gorgeous colours and you won't explore and create new looks.

The Masterpiece Series includes:
Volume I - The Minimalist
Eye Shadow colours : natural light, simplicity, elegance, subtlety, balance
Cheek colour: harmony

Volume II - The Impressionist
Eye Shadow colours : canvas, pastel, vision, watercolor, movement
Cheek colour: parisian pink

Volume III - The Modernist
Eye Shadow colours: glaze, avant-garde, mondrian, abstract, charcoal
Cheek colour: nouveau

The eyeshadows are similar to the other Stila palettes when it comes to texture and quality. These eyeshadows are perfectly pigmented and last quite long (they are much more longer lasting with eye primer) they blend easily and have a gorgeous buttery texture which is easy to create any look possible. The palettes also contain a range of eyeshadows which consists of matte, shimmer as well as glitter eyeshadows.

The Stila Masterpiece series also includes a mini book with different looks you can experiment with as well as tips to create new looks, all looks and creations are written by Stila's Global Executive Director of Creative Artistry, Sarah Lucero.

Overall I'd say this was a very good purchase because Stila eyeshadows are very good quality so they are long lasting, as well as they are well pigmented so you don't need a lot to create your perfect look. If you see this Masterpiece series anywhere, I'd recommend you purchase it. Plus if you'd like the eyeshadows to look more intense, simply wet the brush and then apply them!
