I found this balm to be 'just right'. It is not so smooth and gliding as the original Softlips, but rather a little denser. For me it stayed on a lot longer that the original Softlips, so you do not need to reapply constantly. I found the smell to be very light and not overbearing at all. I really like the thin tube, as it fits anywhere (even it your skinny jeans' pocket!
