Smashbox Love Me Admire Me Eye Shadow Palette

I love this product.

The design is amazing, and I love the colour combination.

The shadows themselves apply like a dream - they are smooth and leave no fall out on the bottom of the eye - they cling where they are meant to!

I love the shimmery effect (with no glitter), and I adore the pink/peach/browns combo.

Definitely glad I have this!

Continuing my reviews of the Smashbox Love Me range, I will reviewing the beautiful eye shadow palette in Entice Me. I love the packaging of the palette with the cute Love Me piece of plastic that lifts up to fully expose the eye shadows. I really love the fact the the palette has a little guide on the bottom because it does help one with the placement of colours. Initially when you get a palette you aren't always certain where certain colours should be used, so I liked the guide.

The 5 colours compliment each other beautifully and are so easy to apply. The powders have a creamy texture and are highly pigmented. They last incredibly well throughout the day but can easily be removed with some makeup remover or with some face wash.

I have never worn blue eye shadows before because growing up my eyes were dark brown and I have a bit of a mental block with it. But this was the perfect opportunity to play around because this palette does have touches of blue without it being overpowering.

The eye shadow palette retails for R390 and completely worth it in my opinion.

The great thing about this product is that it comes in subtle shades which suit just about every skin type. It also glides on easily and feels silky smooth to the touch. And, the best part is that this feathery goodness lasts all day and night!

Although this eye shadow palette seems like the perfect cosmetic to have, I did find that the packaging could have been a lot better. Don’t get me wrong, I love the cute graffiti inspired compact case! It’s super chic and edgy, but the fact that there’s no mirror inside the compact case is a bit of a downer. Also, it does not have an applicator included. If these two elements were included with the product, this eye shadow palette would have really been the perfect product.

Nevertheless, the Smashbox Love Me Admire Me Eye Shadow Palette will definitely add that swoon-worthy effect to your signature makeup look.
