Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in 004 Black Brown

I've been using this Rimmel eyebrow pencil since May last year. It's my personal favourite, I really love it. I don't like heavy make up so, anything that is easy to use, looks good and works well on my skin is perfect to me. This eyebrow pencil gives me that natural look whenever I use it so I hardly ever need to use concealer to shape my eyebrows but I do occasionally and it still proper.

Quality wise its really good, and any one can use it. It lasts the whole day. It's easy to use and its easy to remove!

Eyebrows are the one area where I can really up my skill level as I have mastered all the other techniques used for perfect makeup except this one. This is why I love this pencil so much. It is very pigmented so I don't have to apply layer upon layer to cover sparse areas. The colour lasts all day long and is a cool toned dark brown which fits most skin and hair tones.

The brush on the cap works perfectly fine to comb through and neaten up the hairs. This pencil should be used light-handedly as it is very creamy, very pigmented and almost waxy which works great for keeping hairs in place all day. You could if you wanted to go over with a clear brow gel etc. but I find this product to work perfectly fine on its own already. Just make sure to sharpen it between brows or you will get too much colour everywhere.

Great Eyebrow Pencil to fill in the blanks

I’ve always like broad eyebrows which is a good thing otherwise I would have plucked my lashes to nothing a couple of years back. Yes I have been blessed with dark and quite broad eyebrows. I pretty much just kept the hairs below my brow bone in check and I was done. Because I was actually ignoring the gaps within the brows.

Enter the Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in 004 Black Brown. Just by drawing several small strokes (I literally imagine I’m drawing a portrait and trying to sketch the natural brow hairs) the gaps look naturally filled. For the final touch I run the brush on the lid of the pencil through my lashes. The compact bristles work a lot better than the little comb I had been using. My eyes are now framed much better.

I’ve been using this eyebrow pencil for a few weeks now and it’s been working great. It works well in giving my eyebrows better definition, filling in gaps and also lengthening the brows. The pencil is quite pigmented so using light feather-like strokes will give your brows the best look. I always start on the outer ends of my brows and work inwards. I prefer applying this pencil lightly because it is super buildable, rather than putting on a lot and then trying to blend it out (not good). The little brush on the side is quite useful for blending out the pencil so that your brows look more natural. This eyebrow pencil stays on all day and doesn’t budge even after a workout.
