I have eyed these mineral glazes for a while but the price was a bit too high for me. Now that they are on sale, I grabbed a whole bunch of colours and I am loving them so far.
Firtsly it is very very pigmented. It is more like a liquid lipstick because the gloss is not sheer at all. You will get exactly the same colour as in the tube. Forever Rasin shade is very dark raisin mauve colour. To be honest it is too dark for my pale skin. I lighten it up with a light pink gloss for myself but it will look so stunning on darker skins! You can see a bit of shimmer in the tube but it becomes pretty much invisible on the lips - it just adds a bit of sheen.
The consisency of the gloss is very thick. Glaze is the appropriate word because it really glazes/seals the lips and doesn't really move around after application. And just as promised it is very very long lasting! Because of that, it is a bit more sticky that your normal gloss but I don't really mind that much. It is definitely more lasting than most of my lipsticks. I am very impressed.
Now the smell of it is a bit overpowering and some people dislike it. I personally don't mind it. To me it smells a lot like citrus and coconut mixed and is kind of sweet. I think everyone should smell it for themselves before purchasing to determine if its for you because it is a bit strong...
The packaging is very nice, simple and chic - definitely doesn't look cheap. It has a wand applicator. The gloss travels a bit up the wand into the lid because it is packaged a bit too compactly but I normally just get the access with a lip brush before it gets all gunked up.
I definitely recommend this gloss particularly if you want a dark rich colour for winter. I think it is a must for dark skins and the price is excellent.
