The gel, I find, works well for wet look as opposed to sculpted hair to hold in place. I would recommend for styling short bob wigs.
For my natural hair however, the gel leaves a white residue and is difficult to rise out.

I've used this gel for wet looks which it is perfect for. My hair stays in place for as long as I want it to but the product has to be washed out afterwards. I did not experience any flaking using this gel. The only downside is the scent of the gel which was overpowering.

I'm not really a gel kind of girl I prefer wax for flyaways. But my boyfriend loves this product. The fragrance is also overwhelming very manly. However, it gives great hold and is a good quality product.
