I love the scent and the subtle red tint. This didn't sting my lips at all, it was soothing, but unfortunately the moisture relief didn't last long, and I had to apply loads of product very very often! Spf of 15 is an added bonus! I like this product for normal use, but for my lip situation right now it isn't the one for me. This would be perfect for summer days, with its sun protection and a subtle tint.

It's a smooth and very moisturizing feeling. This product is like body butter for your lips!
It's up there with Elizabeth Arden 8hr but for a quarter of the price.

I read quite a few rave reviews about this lip butter so I thought I would give it a try. I also adore anything cherry-scented so I was happy to pay the R21 and go on my way. Let me start with the smell. For me the cherry scent is non-existent. The chocolate totally overwhelms and that's all I can smell. But it's not a rich dark chocolate smell, it's a chocolate with a slight medicinal smell, which becomes worse on your lips.

This lip butter contains Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E and Petrolatum. Honestly I'm not all that impressed with this product. It does give a subtle gloss as promised but it leaves my lips feeling dry, even worse then before. The things I like about it are the tube. It's a nice sized tube with a slanted applicator tip. The product doesn't spill and isn't messy. It's nice and easy to apply and has a thin almost invisible feel once on your lips. I am going to keep using it so I can check if the dryness improves, but right now it's not helping with that at all. It's not bad for R21, and it's cheaper then my Carmex Cherry Balm. In comparison it's not as effective as the Carmex one. But it has a better tube with a nicer tip, while the Carmex one has brighter packaging.
